And yet people still advocate for Adam not being on Idol or being a judge or ......... #SMH  Yep - go figure.  Some fans want Adam as far away from Idol as possible. Other fans, including me, think that Adam being on Idol or being an Idol judge would be great for his career but that he can be successful without Idol. There are a few fans who believed Idol was essential. I think the vast majority of Adam fans are in the middle on this one, Idol is great exposure. Setting that aside, and I think Adam would be really good, maybe great Idol judge, but I think Adam would be an even better coach for The Voice. The Voice coaches mentor their team, and Adam was a great mentor. |

Yup! RCA relied on radio and DMG didn't get him any TV gigs when the album dropped. Just one was not enough! Was Adam with DMG when BTIKM dropped and TP launched, Mys*&@^#r, or did Adam drop 19 later when his contract expired? I can't remember the timeline. Yeah, we all remember the horrors of the roll-out..ack. Adam was with DMG when Trespassing dropped and he was on Idol the week the album was released. He performed NCOE. What you may be thinking of is when Adam left 19 Recordings about 5 months ago. |

I think a lot of the "big guns" asked to be on the show or were willing when called because they liked Adam. He gave the show credibility. They've had big guns most years. Season five had Prince, for Pete's sake. I didn't watch S5 so I didn't know who's on their Finale night, but in S8 they had: Cindy Lauper Carlos Santana Rod Stewart KISS Queen Lionel Richie and then The Black Eye Peas |

I will post a numbers recap in the numbers thread later tonight but for now Trespassing Deluxe album jumped from #366 at 8:43pm to #83 at 9:39pm EST ETA: This is itunes Pop albums chart. Okay, I was complaining because we only saw 2 minutes of Adam video. But if that 2 minutes (without mentioning his Queen colab concert) causing Trespassing to surface again.. I'm a happy camper. Just wondering if any of our East coast members that are going to suffer through -oopps! - watch Idol to see the segment on Adam would mind giving those of us in another time zone a hint as to what time Adam is on. We could tune in and watch and set our DVR's and not have to sit through the blah, blah, blah.  HI, Still early in the tread and getting so excited here on the West Coast. WAITING>>>> for the Adam Package! and the fact that RCA and Shosh tweeted it must be something really good:-) Yes, I am watching for the first time since Adam was last one... This thread is so full of WIN and good things. A joy to see all the things coming together for him and the journey continues:-))) |

I do not think Adam is at the Beacon Theater on July 10 -- because the theater is book with Cyndi Lauper's show www.beacontheatre.com/events/2013/july/cyndi-lauper.htmlETA: There is a post on some site that Adam is playing the Beacon Theater in NYC on July 10. It appears to be incorrect. |
