I know it won't happen, but I was listening to "Nirvana" the other day and thinking what a beautiful duet that would be.
I think it's likely that Angie and Adam will sing a cover. I predicted the other day that they'd sing Angie's self-written song, but indications are that she is going to have the chance to sing that song solo in the program. Of the likely Adam songs they could sing, I would rather have them sing BTIKM than WWFM, because Adam has never sung BTIKM on Idol. It would make a nice duet. Still think they'll sing a cover, though.

I have been suspecting Mad World, but since Angie is doing a ballad, solo, maybe she and Adam will do a rock song. Angie loves Rock. Pretty sure Nirvana is about getting high, so not sure that would be a good idea with Angie.  |

I don't write so much as make long posts that include quotes, pics, and videos. I've lost plenty of them. Before you make a big post, right-click "Select All" then right-click "Copy". This gives you another chance to post without losing it. |

Adam is going to be doing a duet with Angie on Thursday. I expect it will be great. But I want to comment on Angie-gate. ** When Angie responded to the Rolling Stone interview question about rumors of her dueting with Adam Lambert or Jessie J. with the comment about Jessie J. and no mention of Adam, Adam fans had three immediate responses: 1. Some thought Adam was not going to be on the Idol finale. This quickly faded and was eliminated completely when calmer fans pointed out that the night before Ryan Seacrest announced that Adam would be doing a surprise duet on the Idol finale. 2. Some fans thought this meant that Adam would be dueting with Candice because only the top two get duets. This quickly faded and was completely eliminated when fans familiar with Idol provided them with past history proving that many more than the top two finishers get duets. 3. And some Adam fans felt Angie had dissed Adam by saying that she wanted to duet with Jessie J. and not mentioning Adam. For a few fans, this has not faded and has morphed into a critique of Angie. I am certain that Angie is excited to perform on the finale and excited to perform with Adam. But Jessie J. is her favorite pop artist and she may prefer to perform with her favorite. Who wouldn't want to perform with their favorite artist? IMO there is nothing wrong if she prefers to sing with her idol. In all of this, the happiness about Adam being on the Idol finale, being the first non-winner to return to Idol and perform on the finale, is being lost. Let's not let that happen. Don't understand why so many are upset. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Hope this topic is over. |

Also,I think that would kind of take away from Adam as a returning "star" with his own music. That's why I really think they will sing WWFM. It's his biggest hit and yes, Adam has sung it before, but Angie hasn't! :-) |

I am thrilled to death that Adam is appearing on Idol this year - and on the Finale!!! I am confident that whoever he sings with and whatever they sing, it will be spectacular! Adam was my inspiration to become intolerant; to become involved. I said to my first friends from Planet Fierce three years ago - "I know Adam will change the world!". I realize now he can't do it alone; but he was born to lead. And I'll be near, every step of the way, with unapologetic white hair and years of living to spare. As Adam said - "we aren't black or white or young or old" - we are so much, so much, the same. Thank you for this beautiful recap. It sounds like a wonderful experience and so glaad you all could go!!! |

I think covers are fun and all but Adam sang enough covers on AI when he was a contestant! He has two full albums of music. I have my fingers crossed that they will choose something of Adam's to sing |
