Usually, the contestant sings one of the duet partners songs. I can't think of a time when that didn't happen and they covered a song by someone else. Also,I think that would kind of take away from Adam as a returning "star" with his own music. That's why I really think they will sing WWFM. It's his biggest hit and yes, Adam has sung it before, but Angie hasn't! :-) I can. The winner of season five, Taylor Hicks, sang "In the Ghetto" with Toni Braxton in the finale. It was a song he did solo to great acclaim during the competition. So it's possible Adam and Angie could do one of the songs she did during the season. Offhand I can't think of all the songs she did, but I'm sure there's something there that would make a great duet. I agree with you Q3 that Angie didn't mean to insult Adam, and that it was probably a RS omission,or perhaps she was told not to confirm her Adam duet leaving her at a loss as to how to form an answer that included him, so she left him out. At 19 most have less experience in thinking on their feet than those who has been around awhile. Her tweet (this means the world! Your amazing =)) shows she can be very positive about him
Nonetheless, it is unfortunate that readers of this interview in RS could very easily take away the impression that she is not thrilled to be singing with Adam.

Last thought..cannot imagine Adam would not bring one of his songs to AI...the exposure he got from a 2 minute clip
was astounding. This is an opportunity to get people back in touch with what he has on the market. The surge
TP got was something else. For me, I doubt any covers with this opportunity to clue the US in that he actively has
his second album out. But whatevs...can't wait to hear him sing again!
And I am very happy for Angie that 19R is going to record her song as a single..I had a suspicion they might.
Kudos to her.

An absolute , redundant NO for covers . Just NO . It SHOULD be an Adam song .
Otherwise I'll take it as an insult to Adam and his world-wide superstardom .
Come on guys , he's a superstar . He has plenty of songs and they can sing any of them .
