Good morning everyone.
Micheal Orland's "looking forward to way more" quote.. something is up for Adam at Idol. He has been looking way too content lately.. just my thought!
As far as the duet, it isn't going to matter who Adam duets with, he is going to steal the show.
Regarding Angie's RS interview, she stated that she didn't want to do pop or dance, but wanted to do inspiration rock ( Christian like but not in your face ). I was driving home from my mother's listening to Trespassing with that thought in mind.
Assuming the song will be from Trespassing, which I hope it is, that eliminates the first half of the album. I am into the second half and most of the songs are too mature, non Christian like for Angie.
I am actually stumped as to what they could sing that would be an inspirational rock song that would showcase a great duet. I was left with Nirvana, which Adam isn't going to sing. Maybe, maybe BTIKM? Map is very, very nice, but as a duet?
I am actually pretty excited to see what he comes up with , because I know it will be brilliant.

When she has been asked directly, "Are you going to do Christian music?" her answers have been "No." She is smart. Jimmy won't sign her if that is her goal. Here are her 2 answers from RS. Both your parents are pastors, and you grew up singing in church. Does that influence your music? I’ve done Colton Dixon’s "Never Gone," I’ve done "Love Came Down" by Kari Jobe, and those are worship songs. But they’re not, like, in-your-face Jesus songs. They’re subtle. I don’t want to shove Jesus down people’s throats. I want to be able to show them, subtly. Musically, are you looking to be more of a Christian or pop artist? Neither of those, really. I want to make music that has meaning and is real. I don’t want to have dance party music, but at the same time I don’t want to put people to sleep. [Laughs.] I definitely want to incorporate piano, and have a lot of edge. I love rock. |

The Roller Coaster Series : Day 9
Wow , there was some heavy Angie Miller judging in yesterday's thread .
I'm not gonna "judge" by saying she's good or bad or whatever , I'm just gonna say that I couldn't care less about her , and I have zero interest in watching her performances . Zero . Zilch . Nada .
And I don't hate the fact the SHE is gonna duet with Adam on the finale , I hate the fact that Adam is doing a DUET on the finale . I don't care with who . I have no interest in anyone else.
Anyways . . . . .
And for the song , today I had the BEST IDEA EVAH !!!!!!!!
Why not perform Love Wins Over Glamour ??
I know it will be a duet (UGH !!!!) but it will be heard by a lot of people , and it will get popular , ya know ?
The only thing I don't know is if the "Life Ball" Agrees . The song *has* to be premiered on the life ball ? Or is it Ok ?
Oh well , LOL .
And , I feel the winds of the "Idol Speculation" coming again .
Nah , I'm not gonna speculate , not gonna angst , not gonna say anything about it . I learned my lesson the last time it happened .
