OT -- So yesterday my cat Esme decided to knock over a large full glass of water onto my laptop computer, which then made a fizzing noise and went -- POOF! No more laptop--EEEEEEKKKKKK!!!! Today, I had to spend my emergency fund on a new computer, and it's quite nice, but dealing with reconstructing everything is no fun. I do have Carbonite, which is online storage for everything on the computer--but it can take a long time to work. Grrrrr. Anyway, thanks for letting me vent, and I look forward to getting back to normal action soon.  There is nothing worse -- my sympathies..... ![]() |

Whoa, kamar, you do have opinions! Great that you have connection and visit here I agree that it was very unpleasant to read the very judgemental posts on Angie. However, I do care not only about Adam but about other people too, artists or not. And I think the Life Ball song is for Life Ball premiere. I like Angie's singing and I do remember she is young and inexperienced with media (which I said already in the first round). Don't have enough info to say anything about her personality, looks, clothes, beliefs etc. - nor do I want to participate in putting her down any more than Candice or Kree. I enjoy duets in general and look forward what they come up with - wishing it goes well. Another precious moment of Adam performing to come which we get to experience! I really do wish that the blame game as well as Idol judge speculations could be kept at bay so that we could all enjoy in peace both the contestants' and the guests' numbers. What is he going to sing? What is he going to wear? This AI finale might just be a hell of a show!!!!!  I'll join you with  |

I just relistened to Better Than I Know Myself, and think the lyrics and melody would make for a great duet - something Angie should be comfortable with, and also something from Trespassing. But I like the idea of Runnin' or Take Back, too.

They will get the message. I wrote in as well .....re the second co - winner award. Whether they edit...time will tell. Hey, at least they provide a link for any problems with their reporting ....which is rare. We gave it a shot. |

Two suggestions to avoid this frustration --- 1. Change your profile to autosave drafts on Adamtopia. It just takes a minute. Go to PROFILE, SETTING tab, and scroll down a bit and check YES on save drafts. 2. When you are done writing but before you it create post, highlight the text, copy the text, then hit CREATE POST. If the smurfs eat your post, you will have the content saved on you clipboard. You can PASTE it into a new post. Also, if you write a long post or include a lot of graphics, make sure you hit CREATE POST only once then wait a minute. If you hit CREATE POST multiple times it will either create a duplicate or fail trying to create more than one post. |
