I just don't want to get my hopes up too high about tonight's performance. I am still trying to decide if I want to log on to see what he did or wait til it appears in the regularly scheduled Pacific time. So, for us peeps on the west coast... how early can we get the scoop about Adam's duet or whateverthefuck he's doing? (Yes, I always read the end of books first)I want to know EVERYTHING the second it happens and when it happens! |

Beyonce is not going to be on Idol. She is touring in Europe. May 16, 2013: Beyonce returned to the stage last night to resume her Mrs Carter Show world tour - but admitted she was going against what her doctors had advised. The star was forced to scrap a gig in Antwerp earlier this week due to exhaustion and dehydration, and posted a hand-written note online explaining that she had never pulled out of a show before. Last night she told the crowd that there was "no way in the world" she would have missed another date. She is in a car with her makeup artist and hairstylist -- she is headed to Idol. There is just nothing else in LA tonight that would account for that crew with her heading somewhere in the morning. I guess she needs a stylist for her wig? She could be doing lots of things in LA. A MV video shoot, the album photo shoot. But my guess, like I said, is premiering her new single on Idol. "It ALL begins" just does not fit doing a duet with Angie for me.  |

I am 99% sure Beyonce is not on Idol tonight because of her EU tour. Besides, "Girls Love Beyonce" is a Drake song! A duet with Drake makes sense! She adores him! Okay, so Candice's first tweet was misleading. But she's not dueting with Drake. Here's a second tweet: Candice Glover

"It ALL begins" just does not fit doing a duet with Angie for me. Why fly from London to LA for 24 hours for a photo shoot? She shot the MV for her new single at the end of April. Premiering her new song does not fit an Idol duet but that makes sense. Having her on the show and not having her do a duet with Angie does not make sense*. Maybe she is doing her new single and a duet with Angie. That would be a reason to bump Angie's single performance. ETA: She also came into LA with her Production Manager. So there is a performance involved or he would not be in LA in a car with her. * ETA #2: Not making as much sense now that I have thought about it a bit. |
