If there was any thought that Idol is on it's way out, one would only need to come and read the pages and days of excitement and speculation for tonight!! Someone was asking about Niles being in LA.I am wondering if he is coming in to work with Adam for a while. Doesn't he have a week or more before the Life Ball event? Also, in question of Brian May's whereabouts.. he was in New York earlier in the week for auditions. Adam and Angie. The surprize will be what song. #throwback I heard they're going to do We Will Rock You the musical on Broadway... so maybe that's why Brian's in NY |

The advantage of singing a cover is that everyone knows what it's supposed to sound like -- when Adam nails the vocals it will be very apparent that he is a great singer -- all the reasons that the AI crowd loved him during AI8. People have to have something to compare him against -- isn't that what Idol is all about in the first place? I might feel differently if he had something new to promote. Perhaps this will make people check out A3 since they will be reintroduced to him this evening. I see that Anthony Hopkins is there -- he LOVES Adam.

I'm not really up to how AI works and haven't been following much until lately, but to me this seems extremely preferential. Maybe this is what Amber was whining about Angie is getting two duets!! I'm not really up to how AI works and haven't been following much until lately, but to me this seems extremely preferential. How does she warrant this sort of bonus; I can only agree that the whole programme seems to have a agenda ![]() . I have part of the scoop. Universal is going to sign her. Jessie J. is on a UMG label. Universal was instrumental in making this happen. (Also, I believe a large check was involved but that is a rumor not confirmed.) She also is the first Finalist to have a single released before the show ended. ETA: I do not believe any Idol watcher even considered that Angie would do 2 duets! |

Angie just said that Universal isn't involved with her single...another label (she gave a name, not sure if it is a label or not). Jimmy isn't involved. Isn't that odd if they are going to sign her? (Maybe not). |

But I wish Adam was dueting Jessie J. -- now that would be HOT! |
