Ok I'm having a melt down...........  WHY NOT CUCKOO...  his viewpoint of how crazy the last 4 yrs have been for him????????????? He sang it on PLL and it sold so there are people who have heard it,!! I DON"T GET IT.........WHAT OTHER "SUPERSTAR" is singing a cover????????? PROMOTE YOURSELF HE ALREADY IS KNOW FOR HIS INCREDIBLE VOCALS so sing your own FN SONG DAMN IT.. WILL HE BE KNOW FOR COVERS????Pink song, Bruno song, Tia song., etc how about his own. I can't believe how disappointed ..let me go outside and yell now to let off steam |

I know this will a very unpopular point of view, but I don't think Titanium is good choice given the terrible gun violence we have had in US recently. I know that the shooting imagery is metaphorical, but still it just does not seem appropriate at this point in time. I am sure they will do a great job with it vocally and I like the tempo and melody, but it makes me cringe to hear someone sing about shooting. I really wish he had done one of his own songs instead. Sorry to be a downer, but this is my honest opinion. Well then I am unpopular too... I went and watched the lyric video for that song... and that is all I could keep thinking about. A song about shooting, really? Even if it is metaphorical... Then I went to watch the music video also posted here and when it started with that little boy sitting in a mess... was that a school... and then leaving I had to turn it off. So, yeah, you are not alone. Oh well, Adam will be fine and the will "werk" the song. So I will stay tuned:-) |

Especially with Adam's track record on gun violence...and here we were debating the appropriateness of Cuckoo for Angie. AND she is dueting Domino. Ironic, isn't it? |

Angie just said that Universal isn't involved with her single...another label (she gave a name, not sure if it is a label or not). Jimmy isn't involved. I think she said another "studio" rather than another "label". But definitely, Jimmy was not involved as the producer. She worked with a different producer. 19R should be the only recording company involved with her single. The UMG contract cannot be signed until after the end of the season. Jimmy is a producer, but mostly he is an exec. He is Chairman of Interscope Geffen Q&M. According to wikipedia he has not produced any Idol alums. I knew Adam was going to sing a cover as soon as he said "I haven't got anything to promote" ages ago when he was asked if he would perform this season. (and sorry gals, methinks you're over thinking things....Titanium is a great song and will showcase both Angie and Adam  |
