I agree it was too short, but what we did get was glorious so I'm a happy camper in that respect. I'm a teensy weensy bit miffed at the no introduction bit and him being ignored at the end - but I'll live...lol Adam was a pure class act the whole way

OK, that did break my heart some. Adam should be the lead diva of EVERY SHOW EVER ON EARTH EVER. He is a true national and global treasure!!!!! He should never ever be an aside. WARNING SMALL HISSY FIT ***********************>>>>>>>NOBODY PUTS BABY IN THE CORNER!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. F**&^*&^*%%&^% HOMOPHOBIC AMERICA THAT DOESN'T PLAY HIM ON THE RADIO!!!!!! F*^*^&%*&*^&%% STUPID AMERICANS THAT DON'T KNOW WHAT WE HAVE AND JUST LETS A PURE DIAMOND LIKE ADAM SLIP THROUGH OUR FINGERS. WE LOST HIM TO CHINA AND INDONESIA>>>>>>> WTF!!!!!!!!! HE IS THE EFFING SHIZZZZZZZZ!!!!! STUPID STUPID STUPID F(&$%^%($*%&$&$&##### AMERICANS THAT DON"T GET IT....HOW DARE YOU LET US LOSE HIM......HE IS A NATIONAL TREASURE.............> ********************** Well, that is true. . I hated him standing there while JEssie J and Angie and Ryan spoke As if he were invisible ( oh, and nice seeing you again Adam . . . ), but I guess it is pretty obvious they got JJ after Adam and she became the focus of the segment, time and talk wise. BUT people with ears know what they heard , short as it was. AND there are a gazillion AI alum who aren't there at all . . . that. Yes, I just selfishly want more of him here in the US. I wanted him appreciated by more here. I want him to not have to leave to be the megastar he deserves to be and to make his big bucks. Anyway.... The song with Angie was sublime and he is, as always, an utter dashing gentleman. So, I am happy.

It's not about him, true - and it's hard to introduce Trespassing because it's not new anymore.... The clip from last week would have covered him in that respect already. Just let him sing more! Adam and Angie sounded so cool! ITA So sorry so many were disappointed. Perhaps it was a matter of inflated expectations. Trespassing is way past promotion mode and this was ABOUT ANGIE. It is the Idol Finale and the job is to launch the top singers of the season. I stick to my thoughts that Angie is being pushed to increase the odds that someone will "make it". The whole stint with JJ and that amazing invitation to fly to England and sing with her supports that contention. I agree the duet was short but it was so classy, gracious and beautiful. I agree! The only thing that I didn't like was Mariah & Nikki not standing up for Adam. But if they though they couldn't because JJ was going to be coming up behind them, then that might explain it. I think it is really good exposure for Adam to be on the finale no matter if it is a cover and it is short. It still promotes him and get him back in people's mind.

Idol don't owe him anything and yet they gave him that WATN thing (w/ Trespassing promo) and a duet on the finale. What's the problem? I agree. Idol has been good to Adam this year. That was a great WATN segment last week. He was invited to sing on the FINALE! He's getting great reviews. I bet all the former contestants sitting in the audience wished idol would treat them as "badly" as they treat Adam.

I think right now Adam's fight is how he is perceived by the majority (and not his abject loving "berties" ie us ) and this has been nothing but win win for him. And the same thing for Life Ball. He might not be the rabbit in this race to "stardom" but we all know who won that race. And we will be there to see him crowned on that finish line

First off, let me admit that as soon as JJ came on I turned it off, so I don't know how they treated him after that. But, that duet was beautiful..... because of Adam. His entire focus was on Angie. That intense gaze that we comment on when he is listening to someone else. Like there is no one else in the room. Even to the point of starting to sing with his back to the audience. "This is not about Adam Lambert. This is Angie's moment." Such grace. Such class. And the voice? Heavenly. Angels on ice skates. Clear, nuanced, varied, blending, mature, singing as a partner, not an international pop star. I think he also brought out the best in Angie. In the end, for me it is quality, not quantity, and Adam shone brightly by being so tender, attentive and generous.

They know their business well, and do whatever makes them money. No free rides.
