I def. don't think Adam was "done wrong" by idol. I was teasing about "Baby in the corner" It's just hard seeing such a small sublime little song. I want the whole American Idol Finale to be only Adam Lambert ; ) OK, with some great duets. Completely irrational and unreasonable. But there it is.

I agree it was too short, but what we did get was glorious so I'm a happy camper in that respect. I'm a teensy weensy bit miffed at the no introduction bit and him being ignored at the end - but I'll live...lol Adam was a pure class act the whole way My sentiments too but I did notice one thing.....Adam had his back to the audience when they first started singing.....did you notice how many people started cheering when they heard THE VOICE. I thought that spoke volumes. I'll take Adam's class act any day -- oh jeez -- JLo is on -- how did the channel switch back?

Idol don't owe him anything and yet they gave him that WATN thing (w/ Trespassing promo) and a duet on the finale. What's the problem? I agree. Idol has been good to Adam this year. That was a great WATN segment last week. He was invited to sing on the FINALE! He's getting great reviews. I bet all the former contestants sitting in the audience wished idol would treat them as "badly" as they treat Adam. ITA. I am sitting here watching JLO and Pitt BS instead of past winners. We get judges and past judges pedaling their music when it should be about what the contestants went on to accomplish. Very very thin on Idol past talent on display. I think Adam was fortunate to be given a slot.

I am thinking that adam actually didn't want to appear as he "didn't have anything to promote" and AI begged him and he agreed to do something short... he was so "supportive" that I could hardly hear him, he was with his back to the camera half the time and he had to stand on the stage witnessing the JJ promo.... overall - much a do about nothing... what a relief to turn this thing off... waiting for VIENNA!!!!! Sorry to rain on your parade, but it's not getting better in Vienna!!! The Life Ball is about the Life Ball and about Aids, not ever ever about the artists!!!!! I have watched it for some time now an NEVER EVER is the artist the center of attention, they drown in the whole thing and are just little stones in the mosaique. Always. I did not think it possible that Adam would get so little screen time on AI this year, and so little(no) mention of Trespassing ... but please be prepared, Life Ball will be worse. Life Ball will be a great fun party for Adam and waaaaay late that that he is invited, but it will do nothing for his career, nor is it intended to I think. I watched the available footage of the last year's Ball and it was all awesome! Adam will be probably featured just for a few seconds with his opening song, but he will be really dressed up and he will be performing a new song!!!! He will be having a great time for a great cause! Along with hundreds of other artists! A totally different ball game from an AI appearance- the Life Ball is really about THE CAUSE and NOT about the artists. AI finale is about self-promotion at any cost - for all except Adam. #respect.

First off, let me admit that as soon as JJ came on I turned it off, so I don't know how they treated him after that. But, that duet was beautiful..... because of Adam. His entire focus was on Angie. That intense gaze that we comment on when he is listening to someone else. Like there is no one else in the room. Even to the point of starting to sing with his back to the audience. "This is not about Adam Lambert. This is Angie's moment." Such grace. Such class. And the voice? Heavenly. Angels on ice skates. Clear, nuanced, varied, blending, mature, singing as a partner, not an international pop star. I think he also brought out the best in Angie. In the end, for me it is quality, not quantity, and Adam shone brightly by being so tender, attentive and generous. Of course, you are right. I just wanted to hear more. Was hoping for an entire song. Angie did great. He was perfect.

Adam is getting a lot of positive online buzz for the performance. It will most certainly be a highlight of the show. In a digital buzz world 2:35 is long enough. On the Life Ball -- I hope it and being in Vienna inspires Adam and makes A3 even better. It is one of the most beautiful places in the country.

[smiles] Everyone watching an Idol finale knows who Adam is. He got a beautiful segment last week, and while it was short, it was the same length as every other WATN Idol segment I've seen. His song with Angie was 3 minutes. Again, fairly standard song length, and the song length was pure loveliness. Tonight *is* supposed to be about the contestants. Adam, of ALL people, has been there and understands this. Just because WE wanted more, doesn't make bb shafted. He did beautifully. Be happy guys. {{HUGS}.
