I think I am going to go and look for Candice's performance, so I have an idea what we are dealing with... - "the best singer of all 12 seasons" by some comments I've seen... - which would be great for a ballad duet with Adam, which would mean WWFM and I hate that idea... Does she do anything but ballads? She has done mostly ballads, but I think she could do an uptempo song well. I think "Next to Me" (I love that song when Emeli Sandé does it, and I thought Candice did a good job on it) and "Come Together" are probably the closest she's come to uptempo songs. - thank you for the link! it saved me going to the pink place... I listened to two of the songs you listed, she can sing, but (as usually with me) nothing special about her voice and the bum notes are annoying... (IMO Michael Slezack is insane proclaiming her performance to be the best of all 12 seasons, but we know his history ...)...believe it or not - I like Angie better  Ok, the bottom line is - if Adam duets with her he can go full voice and doesn't necessarily need to tone it down - which would be great news. In the end, as many have said, as long as he is on TV - it is all good. The rest is gravy - which I want to have as well ![]() |

According to MJSBigBlog Fox LA has confirmed that Jennifer Hudson will be on the Idol finale tonight. Best guess is she will be singing with Candice. Here is what is known about tonight's finale: Mariah Carey with Randy Jackson on bass, and a full gospel choir, medley of her hits, including “Vision of Love,” “Make It Happen," “We Belong Together,” “My All,” “Hero” plus her latest single “#Beautiful.” Keith Urban perform his new single, “Little Bit of Everything.” K-Pop star, Psy will perform his new single “Gentleman”. THR is still reporting that Angie Miller will duet with Adam Lambert, www.hollywoodreporter.com/idol-worship/american-idol-finale-mariah-carey-523528 but there is a TON of buzz around the fact that pop singer, and Angie fav, Jesse J, justflew into LA for 24 hours on a “secret mission.” Amber Holcomb's duet partner and status is unknown but she is not happy about whatever is going on.  Fifth place finisher, Janelle Arthur, is set to duet with The Band Perry. The "boys" are scheduled to sing a number with Frankie Valli. FOX LA has confirmed Oscar winner, and Season 3 alum, Jennifer Hudson will be appearing tonight. Curtis Finch Jr., (one of the finalists) tweeted that we can look forward to not only Jennifer Hudson and the already reported Jennifer Lopez, but Pitbull, Aretha Franklin and Boyz II Men as well. There is a rumor that Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull will perform together. Not confirmed. |
