Review a bit bittersweet for me..... Adam's Kickin in and Trespassing album sooo great. I wish Radio had played the hell out of it.. It's not fair.. Adam deserves BETTER. Happy that BB took note of the unfairness of it all. I hope that some Pharrell fans who are reading the article give Kickin' In a listen. They could not be anything but impressed. I bet, though I have know way a knowing, that if they have any preconceived idea of Adam's music, this super cool and edgy tract is not what they expected from an Idol alum. Maybe he will get a couple of new fans.  I also had a bittersweet moment reading this article. |

Hey! I wasn't dissing you! I understand why you like Elvis and complement you on it! This is why I don't post much because I really can't put my words out there in the manner in which I mean most of the time. I was more lamenting the fact that I didn't see Elvis the way most of the world does and I don't really know why. Besides I don't dislike Elvis, I have his Albums still after all these years. Please forgive me? I wasn't mad. I actually understand why some people don't see Elvis the way I do. Elvis was a member of a highly stigmatized group, just as Adam is, and didn't try to hide it. People react viscerally to him, just as they do to Adam. Okay, I'll admit it. When it comes to this statement, I'm "numb'er than a hake" (as the locals say here on the Maine coast). I don't know what group you are talking about. Please explain. Thanks. |
