Review a bit bittersweet for me..... Adam's Kickin in and Trespassing album sooo great. I wish Radio had played the hell out of it.. It's not fair.. Adam deserves BETTER. Happy that BB took note of the unfairness of it all. I really believe with all my heart that if Adam's music was played without people knowing who it was, I think they would like it. I run into too many people (family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances) who pre-judge Adam and won't even give him a chance. I have given out the CD to people who haven't even bothered to listen to it. I have invited family members to go to Adam shows where I would treat, and I am told they are not interested when they have NEVER heard any of his music. So many people know about my obsession and not one person has ever asked me to send them a link of his music. :( thelambertluvva, so sorry about that. Do they ever say why they are not interested?

I wasn't mad. I actually understand why some people don't see Elvis the way I do. Elvis was a member of a highly stigmatized group, just as Adam is, and didn't try to hide it. People react viscerally to him, just as they do to Adam. Truly curious, because I really don't know: What highly stigmatized group was Elvis a member of? Artists immortalized in black velvet paintings.... ?

Agree, he is a super interesting person to follow. I often feel a little guilty that I spend so much time online, and hence less time reading literature as I did in my pre Adam fan days, but in truth I find few novels as interesting as this real story: The Adventures of Adam Lambert, Pop Star. I remember once back in 2009 when I felt guilty for spending too much time and attention on an up and comer named Adam Lambert. I got over it - not Adam but the guilt - and now realize it was time well spent and I continue to be just a bit obsessed with Adam and his exploits. No guilt, no reservations at all. I figure I have mostly replaced tv watching with stanning. Before AI 2009, I found plenty of ways to fritter away my spare time. Now I fritter it with Adam. I'm still pretty busy though.

Elvis was a poor white Mississippi redneck who was singing "that Negro rock n roll music". It was almost impossible for him to get radio play on the all-white stations back in the 50s. Plus, shaking his hips, curling that lip, driving the innocent lil gals CRAZY, was the devil himself come to town in the Bible Belt. But, resistance was futile & now The King is Legend!
Our BB will pave his own way to music immortality!

Stanning AFL is the only thing I can count on to make me feel more alive, every single time. I do it as much as I possibly can. I have rearranged my priorities to make him one of the top 3. It makes me feel good and keeps me satisfied. For me, there's no guilt, just gratitude. Beautifully and truthfully stated! As I was listening to Adam's music in my car today I realized there something about his voice that is psychotropic to me. I really can't believe after 4 years I get the same rush that I got from the beginning...when I hear his voice or see his image. Addicted for sure.

Hi Dear
Christopher Ameruoso is working on this book with Priscilla Presley. For several months he has been photographing many different celebrities wearing/interacting with a pair of Elvis's famous sunglasses provided by Priscilla Presley and Graceland. These photos will be published in a hard cover book that is planned for an August 2013 release, coinciding with Elvis week.
The book will be filled with about black and white photos of 80 different people with quotes from each person about Elvis.
Thanks!
