Does anyone know who the dude is in the nice white shirt with Adam and Danielle? He looks familiar. I was wondering about that myself, but I don't follow Danielle Stori, so I can't open the Instagram link to see the hashtags. eta: Hi Viv!! I have been voting a lot on the Wendy Williams Poll because the results are going to be announced on her show. TV air time for a poll about which alum would make best judge. Of course JHud and Kelly's fans are not joining the fray, don't need too. We had a nice big lead, but Claymates have started to move up fast. This has been a low voting poll with only about 28,000 votes, which I don't understand as I have seen us log log in 200,000 or more for a poll with no pay off at all. Low voting polls can change fast. Remember how quickly Claymates got a huge lead on us on that Guardian Poll? We don't want to hear Clay's name read as the best new judge. Atop just ate another post...must I copy everything? I feel I need to respond to your post, Iridium..I don't think I would put a carte blanche on the fact that none of us who enter the doors of Atop might not be Adam's family or friends. You never know who lurks here. That said, there has been a type of family world-wide that has bonded around Adam. Even tho Adam isn't my biological brother, I could say..he's my brother. I would hope we could look outside the box and offer everyone here their interpretation of what type of relationship they have 'established' with Adam Lambert. He himself carried on the term Glamily. Many people ARE invested in Adam's love life. I've never seen such a meltdown when Adam and Sauli split. Does that mean that you have to be interested? Absolutely not. Watch the fandom go nuts when Adam goes public with his next relationship..if he chooses to. Your comment on Sauli, tho, is what got to me. To you he has done nothing of interest. Accepted. But your wording to me was a tad below the belt. I happen to like Sauli..I don't stan him, but I admire him. He came to this country with rudimentary English, learned his way around LA when Adam was off touring, made friends, kept his Finnish job commitments and now will launch a TV program. Even if he hadn't done these things, he made me smile and laugh. That's good enough for me. I never considered him Adam's appendage. Different strokes for different folks..totally agreed. I could not remain in silence, however. Hi. Just want to respond to your post: 1. Sorry, but I thought it was clear that my first comment was about fans, not family members or actual friends of Adam who lurk here. I was commenting on earlier posts by lynne, 4Msrmyn and QueeenAl about the supportive family of friends that Adam has surrounded himself with over the years, people who knew him before he became famous, who have supported him through good times and bad. That said, I still stand by my comment: we are fans, not friends, like the Cherrys or Danielle, who have known Adam for years. After all, I don't think Adam is inviting any of us over to his home for dinner.  I believe that he is very appreciative of his fans, but given that we are essentially outsiders who do not know him personally, I would not put us in the same category as family or friends. You are, of course, free to disagree. 2. Re: Sauli, I think you misunderstood my comment. I was referring to Sauli's professional endeavors to date, not his personal accomplishments. I truly appreciate the challenge that he had in coming here to the U.S. to start a new life. As I said I also think he seems to be a nice person. However, he hasn't done anything yet that would cause me to be a "fan". I didn't mean this as a criticism. Many of Adam's friends are musicians, artists, designers, etc., and I like their work. I simply meant that Sauli hasn't done anything or demonstrated any particular talent that would cause me to be a fan. Maybe someday, but just not yet. I don't dislike him, I just feel kind of neutral about him. Hope this clarifies my thoughts for you. |

I remember the Guardian Poll on which it seemed like Clay sprang up 10,000 points very fast, and wanted to make sure that didn't happen here as I considered this to be more important than most polls because it gives a tiny bit of TV time. Sorry I was an alarmist. |
