Isn't that also an explanation for why we are so invested in Adams love live? Sauli is family now and always will be, but we will be equally interested(intrusive) in any future love interest IMHO. Poor guys  But neither Adam nor Sauli are truly family or even friends to any of us, since we do not know them personally. We are fans who support Adam's career, but we are not family. And not everyone is heavily invested in Adam's love life. I wish Adam all the happiness in the world, but I'm not really interested in who he dates. That is his private life (which should remain as private as he chooses it to be, IMO). My main interest is in his professional life -- his music, and his other accomplishments. And I'm only interested in Adam's friends to the degree that what they do is of interest to me (for example, Adam's friend Ty Taylor, who is in a great band called Vintage Trouble). Sauli seems like a nice person but until he actually does something of interest, I can't consider myself to be a fan. Different strokes for different folks. YMMV. You took the words right out of my mouth iridium! I'm interested in Adam's personal life only to the extent that he is happy. I have zero interest in boyfriends (or ex-boyfriends) other than how they affect Adam's well being. |
