No understudy role for Adam on the SSB.. People take the SSB very seriously and I wouldn't doubt there were veterans in that audience. And people who the song touches deeply. Adam did riff it up Broadway style which the snappy salute fit into. But I doubt Adam would 'play' with that song. Yes, I know he did it years ago at Burning Man, but this isn't the same Adam. JMO Have to agree to disagree with you on that, 4M's..
I never said he was being disrespectful and this was definitely not Burning Man with the bleating. By playing with the song, I was talking about the riffs and being over the top.
I'm just saying the style of the song fit the occasion. Broken English..the word 'playing' can mean many things. Now that you have clarified what you meant by 'playing', I totally agree. See, that was easy.. Thanks for fleshing that out for me. (I never said you thought Adam was being disrespectful, bb.)

With all of the frills and the snappy salute, he was just playing. The whole show was camp. Any serious rendition would have been out of place. No understudy role for Adam on the SSB.. Hi Viv! My interpretation of 4M's comment was that "playing" = "riffing it up." In other words (mine), a over the top and not serious. I still agree with 4M

As far as I can tell Adam is not announced as a presenter at the 2013 EMAs. I am not sure what the post on QueenOnline is based on. Link to announced performers and presenters: tv.mtvema.com/showHas anyone seen this anywhere?

I didn't know what 4M's meant by 'playing'...if she had said 'riffing it up' or 'improv' or OTT I would have gotten her post immediately. Just an innocent case of one word having many meanings. I agree with 4M's now too since she clarified her meaning of 'playing'...all good.
