I don't remember if Sarver tweeted anything to Adam, but he did later do an interview in which he was asked about the AMA performance, and he was very supportive of Adam. He deliberately didn't say how he felt about the performance itself, which was probably not his cup of tea, but he spoke up for Adam's right to express himself and said very emphatically that he did not appreciate his own fans using his Twitter to spread hate. I thought the fact that he was willing to alienate part of his fan base to stick up for Adam was really great.
No kidding. Normally I don't believe in criticizing someone's looks, but in this case she did it to herself. All people who have a lot of plastic surgery end up looking eerily alike--and it ain't good. In fact, the word "creepy" comes to mind.

Did anybody ever figure out who Adam was with in the back seat of the car in the pics we saw yesterday? Lots of people thought it was Brandan Vaughn, but I really don't think it was. That guys cheeks looked fatter than Brandan's. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

The only people I remember tweeting favorable comments after the AMAs were John Mayer and Alison Iraheta. Hey Marie! Didn't sarver say something to him? Didn't we hear that Madonna sent him flowers or did I dream that? Sarver did, yes. I still can't remember Gaga's though. Are you all sure it isn't just a "myth?" Been googling like crazy and can't find a thing. The thing I do remember is being pissed because his peers were not coming to his defense. I remember thinking that it was like none of them wanted the association.

Nice beat! Is your son Classixx? Yes. Heathers I always wondered what that part said. I don't know if my son even knows, he just liked the way it sounded, LOL I'll have to listen at home, I can't make it out listening on these speakers. Going home now as it's nearly 5.30 pm and I still have the Perez interview and loads of other stuff to catch up on. Time to get out of here!

murly I also think that Adam doesn't want to be pigeonholed, and I think that is smart.
He likes to change things up and that will keep us interested, as if we ever wouldn't be, LOL.
I thought that I'd be able to get some work done now that the whole CD 1 cycle is over, and I'm sure I will be able to do more, but this morning, I slipped in the accoustic live EP, and enjoyed hearing Adam as much as ever, and here I am checking out the daily news.
I was thinking that my Adam addiction might be like the one people have for a sports team... a great season is over, their team plays in the championship game, and then that fan gets back to real life and waits for the next season and what it will bring. But all of you, and the occasional Adam news, tweets, pics and events will undoubtedly make me a year-round kind of Adam fan. ;D
Also, I hope the discussion at the Social Media Symposium gave Adam some good ideas for keeping the fanbase vitalized while we wait for him to put out his next new album. Won't that be exciting when that happens???!!!

Above the Reply box in which you type your post, there is an icon second from the right on the bottom row that looks like a piece of paper with a yellow arrow at the side of it. When you click on it, you'll get [ quote] [ /quote] (without the spaces) in the Reply box. You can either click on the icon first and then paste the text you've copied from the other post between them (be sure your cursor is between them before you paste the text), or paste the copied material first and then highlight it and click on the icon.
ETA: Oh, geez, I'm dumb for not pointing out that the easiest way is just to click the word QUOTE at the top righthand corner of the person's post! The way I described above is more for when you just want to quote a line or two from someone's longer post.

Well, my 2 cents on the Joan thing: I hated it and found it offensive. And I don't particularly care if Adam would or wouldn't be offended; I don't base my opinions on what he thinks, LOL.
I do get the "in-group, out-group" thing, and that gay men often refer to each other and themselves in the feminine. I also get that some women do, in reference to their close gay male friends.
But the reality is, that referring to gay men as female is widely done by homophobic people and is nothing less than an insult, and is fully intended to be. I don't care if Joan is trying to be funny, or if she is liked by the gay community, or whatever.
Because for me, here's the thing-- what might be perfectly okay in the context of a club or party or amongst friends is NOT okay on a TV show. How many viewers are "in" on the inside joke? Not that many, I'd bet. Most are just hearing a gay man being referred to as "she" and the other panelists chuckling (including the gay man, wtf) and it's just another of a million examples where put-downs of gay people is fine and dandy and funny as heck.
Not okay.
