If George Harrison had to pay the Chiffons for the melody line in "My Sweet Lord" (taken subconsciously from "He's So Fine") and Led Zeppelin paid Willie Dixon for inspiring "Whole Lotta Love". I think Madonna has a good case against Gaga is she wanted to push it. Can't imagine she will but where were UMG/Interscope's lawyers. It is so obvious, and such a prominent release, they had to know it would be an issue. Lady Gaga is certainly not out of ideas. And this is the second Madonna clone song (Alejandro). I am starting to think she did this on purpose to create a controversy -- and to claim the title of new Madonna. Just doesn't seem like an accident to me. On Leno last night, Gaga actually made a point of saying that all the other songs on the album were unlike Born This Way. I thought that was a strange comment and wondered why she made it. Because she wanted to shut down controversy by saying BTW was not part of a pattern? And if it's the only song of its nature, why choose it as the first single if the others would certainly be different (according to her) and without risk of being compared to Madonna's work? Am I making any sense? ???

I've seen this by many fans but don't remember anyone but Rod Stewart coming to Adam's defense, and that was when he was directly asked? Does anyone remember if Gaga actually tweeted him? I thought, from my memory, we were all kind of upset that Adam was not getting supportive tweets from his peers. The only people I remember tweeting favorable comments after the AMAs were John Mayer and Alison Iraheta. Hey Marie! Didn't sarver say something to him? Didn't we hear that Madonna sent him flowers or did I dream that?

Can Joan Rivers ever give a compliment when it's well deserved.I love her and even watched the film made about her life, which was fascinating, but come on Adam looked like a gorgeous MAN. No. On this show Joan is not about critiquing fashion or even discussing it. Joan is about getting cheap laughs and being a caricature of Joan Rivers. She is there to be the star of the show and that's about it. I think it went very well. I am not surprised at all that Kelly loved Adam's style and recounted the positive ways in which way people were reacting to him, or that his hotness whomped her in the face. I fell in love with her on Dancing With the Stars- she was just so genuine and radiated joy. That youtube of Kelly dancing the waltz had me in tears even before she ran across the stage to hug her dad and mom. Did Kelly get to interview Adam before he did the 360 glamcam. I would have liked to have seen that.

Flowers from Madonna didn't happen - it was a rumor.

Lady Gaga tweeted after the AMAs that Adam and all the other performers did a great job. She specifically said "Adam and all the other performers". It was definitely in support of Adam after all the hoopla began. It would have been very strange if she hadn't tweeted, given her stance as icon for the gay community. Ah, I see, thanks. I have read that she supported him but could never find a direct quote or link! A real collaboration of Adam and GAGA would be at least interesting.

I'm on #TeamShutUpJoan. Yes, she can be funny at times, but a straight person joking about a gay man being a woman is just lame. I love Rachel Maddow's show, and one night last week she remarked about how she gets letters from people who disagree with her politics and in virtually every one, they call her a man, which, she said sarcastically, "just never stops being funny." (She's a lesbian, for those who don't know.) I've seen too many of those "that guy looks like a girl!" comments following online articles about Adam, and it's just not amusing. It's cheap, lazy, dated, and most of all inaccurate to say or imply that Adam is feminine. And if he were feminine in his demeanor (which is fine to be if that's who you are), it would be even cheaper and lazier and more dated to make a joke about it! What exactly is the point?
I liked the Perez interview very much, and every time I hear Adam talk about what he wants for his next album, I get more excited. The voice being front-and-center, and the songs being more personal and emotionally honest, is such a win for me. I love FYE, but the next album sounds as if it will be even more amazing.
I also like that Adam isn't clinging to the glam look. Don't get me wrong--I love me some glam. But I don't want to see him turn into Michael Jackson, who, once he glommed on to the Sequined Soldier look with the epaulets and the sashes, never let go of it. I used to have a beautiful poster of Michael in a yellow sweater and white pants, and I always thought a Great Gatsby look would be amazing on him. Instead he just stayed with those stupid faux-military costumes. I think Adam is already realizing that he doesn't want to be pigeonholed into a persona that will get tiresome and look increasingly ridiculous as he gets older.

Nice beat! Is your son Classixx? Yes. Heathers I always wondered what that part said. I don't know if my son even knows, he just liked the way it sounded, LOL
