I can see how having such a diverse fan base would fly in the face of how modern marketing is approached, but it has got to be a real asset also. A huge portion of the population are potential fans. Wanted to add. this diversity goes so well with his message that everyone is welcome.

[grins] And here's my own personal $0.02 on A3, since I haven't commented on it yet: I flove 80's music. And I would love either *an* 80's cover or an 80's homage-type song / set of songs. But not a whole album worth. [stretches] HOWEVER, I would laugh and totally happily get behind a kinda joke/concept-y EP of 80's stuff if it was in addition to an LP of original material. It would be my guilty pleasure and I would undoubtedly play those songs to death, bopping my head and grooving the entire time. I would *****so****** love it. Madly. Passionately. Totally. But not at the expense of a more modern album. If I could get BOTH, I'd be cool. But would need both. #girlcandream! Bring back 80's hair metal!! |
