WoooOOOOOOooOooOooooooooOOOOOOOO my mum loves Glee hope she becomes a convert P.S. What the frak is with all the Twitter wank Hey bb!! [waves, then pets fuzzy mousie head] I can't access Twitter easily from my work computer (it treats the entire site as a potential risk and turns it into sludge), but last I checked from last night a few folks are peeved at a tiny group of people [i.e. as far as I can tell -> 2 individuals out of a bazillion] who have never been Adam lovers and therefore aren't thrilled at the Glee news. Eh. Whateves. No one is required to love the same people equally. [brushes water off of duck's back; goes back to happily squeeing] |

I have never seen such an out pouring of love for ADAM in the Media. |

Show is still 8 days away. Paso has not sent the tickets to the fan club yet. Is there a problem with Will Call? Well, yea there's only a problem when we are told that the tickets will be shipped and they aren't. If they want to do will call in the first place, then that is what should be said. Don't you think? I think that they can't ship them if Paso has not sent them to Gr Control yet. |

The news that Adam was joining the cast of Glee blew me away. But, the coverage of that news makes me ecstatic. Not only the number of articles, but the diversity of publications including the biggest news sources. And coverage around the world. Best of all, what they are saying about Adam. The articles are positively glowing with praise and appreciation for Adam. Virtually every article thinks Adam on Glee is a perfect idea, and why didn't it happen earlier? Seems like over night, everyone knows and loves Adam. ABOUT DAMNED TIME!!! The reaction of the media, Ryan, and the Glee cast goes to show that being a "nice guy" and a thorough professional ultimately pays off. I am reminded of the advice Adam gave the kids on Majors and Minors. He talked about networking and making connections with others because you never know when or how that will pay off in the future. Does anyone ( 4Ms) have a link to that part? I don't think it was aired on the show, but was bonus material. While we are squeeing, and jumping for joy, and speculating, I still think that Ryan's tweet of Adam "joining the cast" means much more than a single or short term guest spot. I don't think that is how Ryan has referred to other celebrity guest stars, is it? In fact, has he even tweeted about them appearing? I'm gonna believe that Adam is going to be a regular. I will go even further and say that the viewer and reviewer reaction is going to be so positive that his role will be expanded as the season goes on. I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but I think it is very likely that the size of Adam's role will be similar to those of Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson. Press releases for the show last year said that both actresses were "joining the cast of Glee for Season 4". They each appeared in several episodes during the season, but they did not appear in every episode. In any event, given the size of Glee's cast and the complexity of the storylines, I doubt that any new cast member is going to get a lot more screen time than they did. Glee has a large permanent cast, much larger than the typical TV show. For season 4, the show had 14 cast members, plus recurring characters in supporting roles. And the show now has 2 main settings, NYC and Lima, Ohio, and there are multiple plot threads within each. So, not every cast member is featured in every episode, and sometimes when they do appear, they have no more than 1 or 2 scenes. And the show is really centered primarily around the kids -- they are the main focus, not the adult characters. Personally, I'm okay with Adam being more of a recurring character on Glee. That will give him more time to work on A3, Queenbert and other music projects. I love the idea of seeing him on my TV on a regular basis, but I want the music, too. (Of course, when Adam's role is finally explained, what I wrote here may be proven wrong. If so, I will gladly eat crow. ) |

There are the usual suspects, mostly on Idol forums, who always criticize anything Adam does or gets. And a couple of them wear Adam fan masks -- but they always criticize him no matter what happens. I refuse to let any TROLL try to ruin this. THERE IS NO WAY THIS IS NOT GREAT FOR ADAM AND FOR GLEE. NOTHING BUT GOOD. And after the foolish angsting that went on over a stupid, unsupported rumor about 80's cover album and moronic tweets about RCA dropping Adam because they did not respond to that foolish rumor, I have no interest is even thinking about people who are so small that they want to TROLL and cause baseless worry. And yes, go and look, the same TROLLS started this crap with QUEENBERT. |
