I'm so excited for Adam on Glee!!!!! I only watch the show off and on, so I will now be watching it every week! WOOHOO!! Kinda off the Glee topic- Has anyone received their tickets to the show in Paso Robles yet? I have not, and on my account it says they were supposed to be mailed on July 5. So far they still haven't been mailed. I contacted GC and they said if i don't have them within three days of the concert to contact them and something will have to be arranged with will call. This really pisses me off. How can they not have mailed the tickets out when it's already 7 days before the concert? It's BS! I have not gotten my tickets either. I order an extra one on the fair site, and it came the next day. I am worried and glad to know I am not alone on this.

Hey bb!! [waves, then pets fuzzy mousie head] I can't access Twitter easily from my work computer (it treats the entire site as a potential risk and turns it into sludge), but last I checked from last night a few folks are peeved at a tiny group of people [i.e. as far as I can tell -> 2 individuals out of a bazillion] who have never been Adam lovers and therefore aren't thrilled at the Glee news. Eh. Whateves. No one is required to love the same people equally. [brushes water off of duck's back; goes back to happily squeeing] I don't see any twitter wank. My feed is swinging off their ceilings! There are two TROLLS on Twitter playing games. One is pretending to be a Tommy fan. Both are new accounts that have no followers.

Adamrocks! I just posted a comment on the idolator site: Lambert loyalists (and we are the Glambert Army) many of whom have seen 50 or more of his live concerts and who tape and rewatch all of his appearances, will be tuned in worldwide. I’m surprised that no article has mentioned Adam’s charming, comedic turn as the host of VH-1 Divas. I never comment, but I think positive posts on these sites can only help highlight our enthusiasm--maybe even more than voting in a poll? YMMV As a matter of fact, I replied to the Vulture article this morning. They reported that Adam's acting resume was pretty much non existent so I signed up to their site so I could post a link to the Diva's vignette (the one that aired at the beginning of the show). I also mentioned his admirable performances as Fiyero in Wicked. I agree that giving hits to all these media sites, posting positive comments, nicely correcting misinformation, and providing relevant links is a way that the fandom can support Adam right now while we await the greatness to come. I am still disappointed but not surprised at the ongoing negativity in the Yahoo comment section. Does anyone know why this site in particular seems to draw the hate? I don't want to be a downer, but I am curious and would like to be enlightened if anyone has perspective on this.

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but I think it is very likely that the size of Adam's role will be similar to those of Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson. Press releases for the show last year said that both actresses were "joining the cast of Glee for Season 4". They each appeared in several episodes during the season, but they did not appear in every episode. In any event, given the size of Glee's cast and the complexity of the storylines, I doubt that any new cast member is going to get a lot more screen time than they did. Read more: adamtopia.com/thread/1801/11-adam-joins-cast-glee?page=13#ixzz2YlHijbrNIridium, that may be true, but the cross promotion opportunities for A3 and the new fodder for interviews make this nothing but a big win, tho. Besides, Adam can sing--really sing! Also, now he'll get the benefit of the buzz. Squee ! I completely agree -- I never meant to imply that this wasn't a great, awesome thing. And as a long-time fan of Glee, this news made me even happier for the show. I was just providing some thoughts about what Adam's role on the show might be, based on what I've seen on the show over the last 4 years.

The posters write negative crap about almost everyone, not just Adam. And if you look at the names, you'll see that it's the same people posting negative stuff over and over on different articles -- these sites are like social clubs for haters. I think the best things to do are either ignore the comments sections altogether, or just post a positive comment and then move on.

Fuse TV @fusetv .@adamlambert is joining the cast of @gleeonfox: on.fuse.tv/155w4DwWednesday night on Twitter, TV writer/director/producer Ryan Murphy announced that Adam Lambert is headed to Glee. Which is 1) Awesome and 2) Strange to realize this hasn't already happened. "I am thrilled to announce that the super talented Adam Lambert is joining the cast of Glee this fall," Murphy tweeted. Although Lambert or Fox have yet to comment on the news and the series creator didn't offer any further information, this is awesome news for Gleeks and Glamberts alike. Whether Lambert is joining as a series regular or a one-time guest remains to be seen, but it's safe to say the pop star—who has extensive stage acting experience—will own the show the same way he commanded the stage on American Idol. And his presence should be a much-needed boost to the show, which recently saw the departure of five series regulars who had been with Glee from the start (the characters of Brittany, Quinn, Mercedes, Puck and Mike are now gone). Most importantly, Lambert's addition to Glee will finally give the series the opportunity to feature a storyline touching on homosexuality. Ha! Did anyone else read that last line? Written with tongue firmly implanted in cheek. Yes, I noticed it! At first I was wtf...and then I did not know if I should chuckle or be slightly offended (glee is the gayest show ever implication). I am sticking with the chuckle since the article was complementary! Gosh, I thought everybody watched and loved Glee. Kate Hudson actually has a pretty decent role on the show. Last season, many of the adult characters were not seen weekly, even the regulars. There are so many cast members and multiple story lines. I can't wait to see how Adam fits into the mix!

Wow that is a WEIRD perspective. Bringing up les mis. seriously? ps when I clicked on the link I got "not found", but I just went to Entertainment on the top of the site and the article was listed. I did not see your edit til after I posted! Totally agree, it did seem snarky.

I always try to check the last page of Atop before I go to bed. Absolutely loved the news last night!!! I am a Glee fan and have watched all the episodes. I've never dreamed about Adam before but last night I discovered I was at a Glee press party and seated at a large table with many people. I realized I was sitting right beside Adam and as I was looking at him, I thought I had to remember something to tell the folks at Atop. I noticed his hair seemed at bit messy and dry and could use some conditioner. Hah! That's all I got. Dreams are funny things.
