Which means Sho is likely coming to LA to discuss plans with the new label & DMG. From the article sounds like he already has a new label lined up. Bet it is the same label Katie Perry us on as they seem to work well with DMG.

Oh goodness. I know some will be ecstatic and predict all kinds of good reasons that it is wonderful news, but this news just gives me the pit in the stomach feeling. I guess drastic change like this scares me. Adam cannot realistically put out a successful next album without the financial support and clout of a major label behind him, can he?  |

I am so frickin happy that there will be no 80s cover album.
I am also certain that Adam will find the right label to work with if he hasn't already.
"Future's so bright, I've got to wear shades", and that's as close to a cover album as I want him to get.
Go Adam!!!!!!

It's never good to be label-less, but a covers album would have been the kiss of death for any pop career. I think he made the right choice.
