They are more likely to look at streaming media measures associated with PAST single releases. Nothing that can be changed now. These are connected to revenue and to chart placement. VEVO for example matters..... Yes, what you say is most likely true but there is the satisfaction of getting that number of hits consistently over these months because of the quality of that performance. Setting a goal is good for rallying - even if the end result is that it is not a game changer. Any little impression made on the collective consciousness is helpful It is not being noticed and has not made an impression. So if you enjoy doing it, then I say do it. But if you are doing it because you think it will make a difference, I strongly recommend passing. The video is almost 2 months old. It is not getting news coverage. It will not go viral. And if it did it would help Angie not Adam. Regarding doing something like this for rallying, why not pick something to do in Adam's name that will make a difference and be noticed. Stream his single on a measured media, put together something for Trevor Project in his name, build an online art project, share some great video of Adam, etc.? I am posting about this because I have received a number of emails and PMs from fans who are doing this and want to know if it matters. no one in the music industry doubts that Adam is a great vocalist, so picking a video that demonstrates he can sing makes no sense to me. If there is a question about Adam's potential success as a recording artist (and I do not believe there is, I think there is a view that RCA mishandled Adam and that Adam needs a different creative environment), the doubt would be about his capabilities as a singer-songwriter to connect with a large audience. So, if you want to help Adam, and you want something to rally around, them here are choices for a video -- my recommendation is the Trespassing VEVO Lyric Video -- Adam will earn a little money for every play as a bonus. And this video's views are noticeably low. Adam Lambert - Trespassing (Official Lyric Video) 2,215,490 views Like 19,962 Dislike 413 And this is the single he wanted to release. It is a song he wrote. And this is the song that has lyrics that fit this moment. I don't need no sympathy. I won't cry and whine.

I wonder if it has dawned at anyone at RCA that Shady and Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" (a major hit) have some similarities--and not just Nile's guitar. Adam was ahead of the curve on that one.

They are excited about 100 retweets? Adam tweets he had a tamale for lunch and it could get 100 retweets. His last Tweet --- the QUEEN photo got 679 RTs. His last Reply -- Run Forest Run got 436 RTs. His Reply to Ryan about Glee got 3,793 RTs. ** By the way, these RTs of Adam tweets matter. I think it would be good for Adam to be on iHeart Radio concert but I hope that isn't the QAL thing! Would be a big waste!! Please be a seperate concert!!!! ![]() Please!! ![]() ![]() ![]() I agree -- and better if his new music is ready!! |

I haven't watched Glee, I'm only familiar with his name but was so sad to hear about Cory's death. I didn't know Lea was his girlfriend til just now. So tragic and sad.

He is one of the most likeable people on the show. And supposed to be exactly like that is real life. I did watch Glee for the first 2 seasons and was a casual fan. ITA it is so tragic and sad. |

Yes.. that what someone said on the other site. That the sound of Trespassing is what all the sound that play in the radio now. So people know Trespassing, they will also know that Adam's lead the current sound coz he's one year a head of everybody. I think he's a musical genius.. it's just that not many people get to listen to his sound yet so it hasn't been proven yet (publicly). The more he's working with these great people the more his musical brain develop. I hope he gets to work with Pharell again this time. |

Do you think that Adam is being advised to not tweet about Cory or Glee, or to wait or what? This feels similar to the VH1 Divas that was at the same time as the CT tragedy.
