That's what I am wondering. Aren't radio gigs usually short sets? Would Queen really bring gear to the US for one short set? Could there be a few/some other Queenbert event going on to coincide with this - assuming this rumor ends up true... So many questions:-) Clearchannel would not book Queen for this event unless they had a CHR single out. They do not. Expect them to announce JT, Taylor Swift, Bruno, and other current CHR artists. ** Kamar, the news will be on US time. I think it would be good for Adam to be on iHeart Radio concert but I hope that isn't the QAL thing! Would be a big waste!! Please be a seperate concert!!!! ![]() Please!! ![]() ![]() ![]() I agree...Queen at iHeart? To me Queen is an experience unto itself. Do I remember correctly that they had over one million bucks in lighting alone? I am imagining something like at HBO special at Madison Square Garden or something like that..a little soiree..  Just Queen, Adam, and a ~few friends. Other than LiveAid, did Queen ever do a few songs with a roster of other artists??? Just doesn't seem to fit. Anyone? |

I'm still thinking about all the awards show that QAL can do and it's TV performances... ALSO.. off course Super Bowl Halftime for QAL .. it's a huge TV time. I bet if they can get Q+AL in there the organizer can get LOAD of advertising for Super Bowl. AND... It's a PERFECT way to introduce the collaboration in the US... that's if they plan to have couple of concert in the US. Could Queen+AL be releasing a Hammerstein Live DVD? |

I believe what Titanium has accomplished is that it has been calisthenics of a sort. Focusing and enjoying seeing a goal reached. This vid came at a time when there were ups and and downs, not knowing what Adam was up to, it was new music..cover irregardless..and got people excited to back something. Nothing like keeping in shape for things to come when Adam needs us again IMO. *pumping iron* I hear what you are saying, Q3, about Trespassing Vevo perhaps being more beneficial in some ways. But this video has me burned out ATM. It's a constant reminder of the RCA situation and Adam pushing a boulder uphill. I certainly am not saying that people shouldn't give it hits and Adam some money, but some of us needed a boost. Titanium gave me a short-term goal for the sake of I wanted to do it. And it's a duet that soothes me. No matter what mood I am in, I can listen to that video and it does my heart good. If for no other reason that that, Titanium has succeeded very well in my world and I've gotten to know some new Atopers. For me it's been a total win. Edited to not assume that anyone but me has burned out on the TP vid for now. I listened to it a TON and gave plenty of hits. I am totally willing to give it more, but not right now. |
