I was pretty confident that we would get a new label announcement tomorrow, now I am wondering if Monday's big news is Queenbert at iHeart radio festival. The iHeart lineup will be announced at 8:30 am ET, so we will know soon enough. I'm sure it's the new label announcement . That's what my crystal ball/mashed potatoes told me yesterday . All we know about tomorrow is that Billboard will have some additional news related to Shirley's story. Also, Jim Cantiello (@jambajim) who is a long-time Idol report/commentator and nice guy, tweeted that the people at Billboard were Berting a lot. > The IHR Las Vegas lineup -- I think Adam is a long shot to be included in this because it is almost entirely people who are currently on CHR radio. I like "Get Lucky" - at last something in radio I can listen without being bored to death. Funky, catchy. Not to mention Daft Punk record after all those years of waiting! (I'm a fan from the begining and always will be) I just love "Get Lucky" and the whole new album by Daft Punk I listen to this album daily - my favorite music for work right now :D |

Milliemom - you are so great at pushing us! ![]() I am thinking may be we should be pushed to stream and play Adam's songs.... I remember Shosh encouraging us to play Titanium and I was really puzzled by it...now I am thinking it was at the time of Glee negotiations perhaps..but I really see no benefit at the moment... where as Adam's music needs attention. Obviously we can;t make much of a dent but it is better than nothing... Thanks Nica .. You're right about getting Adam's songs played ..In fact I was a major nag with Lyric Trespassing. When we got that to a million,I stopped. I'm just a bit played out right now, with a upper respiratory something. So I would love to help ,but need a bit of retirement from Pushing after Titanium.. hugs.. Just to say I think that The duet with Adam and Angie was something very special on American idol. A&A sang only a bit of the song and maybe the other final songs have gotten more hits, But to me ,It's other worldly,heavenly.I've been so committed to it because it moved me beyond a total explanation.. Shosh tweet that at the beginning of the Idol Finale press cycle for it. She wanted to make sure Adam got a lot of press mentions -- and having a lot of Twitter buzz and plays for the video helps. It worked -- Adam returning to Idol and performing with Angie was a highlight or the #1 highlight in almost every article. (Of course, that is probably due to the fact it was THE moment on the finale. Adam then the surprise appearance of Jessie J. was hard to beat.) **** Let's get it to 1,000,000 then I think we might want to push Adam's music -- my suggestion in Trespassing, and specifically the lyric video because the message is perfect. I also think that since it was released as a single we MIGHT be able to get some radio stations to spin it if there is a DJ or two or love Adam. |

I see there is some rumor/hopefulness that Queenbert will play at the iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas in September. Does anyone know how long the individual artists/bands play at this festival? Short sets, full sets? Thanks. peace&love That's what I am wondering. Aren't radio gigs usually short sets? Would Queen really bring gear to the US for one short set? Could there be a few/some other Queenbert event going on to coincide with this - assuming this rumor ends up true... So many questions:-) |

BTW , are the news tomorrow gonna be out in the morning for the US ?
I mean , will I wake up for the news ? LOL I suck with time zones , but if the news are out at the same time the "Adam Joins Glee" news came out , then I'll wake up to the news .
If they come out in this time , then it'll be like 12a.m. here .
WTF am I writing ? Pfff .....
I just wanna sleep and then wake up to the news , ya know ?

I'm still thinking about all the awards show that QAL can do and it's TV performances... ALSO.. off course Super Bowl Halftime for QAL .. it's a huge TV time. I bet if they can get Q+AL in there the organizer can get LOAD of advertising for Super Bowl. AND... It's a PERFECT way to introduce the collaboration in the US... that's if they plan to have couple of concert in the US. |
