Sorry, I posted a tweet from someone I thought was Lea Michele. It wasn't and I deleted. I don't see any tweets from Lea Michele since the death was announced. What could she possibly tweet? A huge part of her life just disappeared....it will take a long time for her to come to grips with this. Sending love and light to all his family and his Glee family. I am wondering if he was out drinking with his friends and when he returned to the hotel, he may have combined it with a prescribed drug. Some drug and booze combinations will depress the respiratory system and cause death. We had a bunch of kids out drinking and they combined it with some type anti anxiety drug. They were all found dead the next morning in a cemetary where they had been partying. What bothers me is this is happening so frequently that we are no longer surprised. I would love to see Glee do a two parter on drug addiction and use Finn's death to show what can and does happen. |

Feel free to do this, it can't do any harm but it is highly unlikely that playing this video will have any impact. 1. They might look at an agreegate social media impact score for Adam or FB and Twitter counts. More likely it will be a more general evaluation that he has a strong online presence. 2. They are more likely to look at streaming media measures associated with PAST single releases. Nothing that can be changed now. These are connected to revenue and to chart placement. VEVO for example matters..... Yes, what you say is most likely true but there is the satisfaction of getting that number of hits consistently over these months because of the quality of that performance. Setting a goal is good for rallying - even if the end result is that it is not a game changer. Any little impression made on the collective consciousness is helpful |

I feel that the timing of the announcement of Adam and Glee was, unexpectedly, very fortuitous in an entirely unforeseeable way. I know it was probably orchestrated to detract from the RCA news but I think that, If it had been delayed a few days until after poor Cory's death, the news would have been tinged with sadness and perhaps a hint of being a 'replacement' ......
The whole Glee team must be distraught - just so sad.

JUst to add to thoughts about getting Titanium to 1,000,000. one outlet already said something about Titanium and showed the numbers.. There's been so much news I can't remember which one. Help.. they included other songs of Adams..The same kind of thing was said about Adam winning the sexiest male singer.. doesn't matter and so forth. it made blogs all over the world.
We are just at the final push why would we stop now.. and one never knows what matters in the long run.. There are also not only Adam's fans but Angie's fans.. The video also shows what a great team player Adam is. and how great he is with sharing a duet. BTW GLEE is full of duets.

I've never watched Glee..(I know...) and wasn't familiar with Cory Monteith. It is always a tragic event when a young
life is ended and for the family and friends left behind. My condolences.
I also believe since Adam is new to Glee, he brings a perspective of fresh energy, compassion and a loving
heart. I can see this as only a positive lift to the Glee cast right now.
