I think the resellers list them on spec, knowing they will have tickets after Saturday, or that they could cancel the orders if somehow they could not fill them.

Interesting! Brian London @brianlondon 1h @adamaddict as soon as we can start doing some shows and get a deal, we'll release the album! We're trying to figure it all out. Brian is working on his own album right? Didn't he and Tommy share some songs a few weeks ago?

Also, aome of the best dealer tickets will come from artists and other insiders including sponsors. It is a way they make extra money. So if you have 10 tickets because you are a performer, you sell 6 through a dealer. Last year the top tickets went for $8,500. This year will be higher. One of my Queen Hammersmith tickets came from someone connected to the band (not directly but through a ticket broker.) ** Has anyone seen any info no the presale?

Rhonda @rhondac23 3 h REMINDER! 3rd UK Adam Lambert Hour Airs Mon July 15 on @energy150778 at 3pm ET 8pm UK Time! Energy Music Radio in the UK! In one hour and 40 mins here www.energymusicradio.co.uk/ Listening to Running on the radio right now! What a week LOL! I've been listening too. Adam sounds so damn good on the radio. Question for some people. They played the studio Tracks of My Tears. Why do you suppose they used that faster arrangement instead of the beautiful slowed-down version he sang on Idol? That was one of my favorite performances on Idol (although I either liked or loved all the others too). ETA: What I really meant to say was why did the Idol folks use that version for studio instead of the way better version he sang on the show? I've always wondered that. In fact, I think the version he sang on the show was one of the best performances on Idol ever.

I am just in awe of the strategy of this whole PR cycle and how the "parting of ways" was so cozily sandwiched between huge giant steps forward a la Glee and QAL in USA. Other than disgruntled trolls and a little piece of snark in LA Times (I think that is where it was), everyone is on the same page that reads Adam is a superstar with industry and media cred and he is a hot tamale and RCA suits are idiots. He is respected for this decision to walk rather than suspected of trying to spin a bad situation. Whoever has signed or will be signing him has to be jumping up and down.
Though I am sure there is enough in it for Queen, I do think they are not unaware that this is a giant plus for Adam. I don't buy into the story line that he should not be singing covers because he said that he didn't want to. In this context, for the first time, mainstream US music will see him more than fill the shoes of one of the greatest frontmen in history. He will, as always, reinvent in his respectful but amazing way. They will see the huge love and respect that Brian and Roger have for Adam and the incredible fun they have making music together.
The impact of all of this and the ongoing presence on Glee will jet propel A3. Not at all attached to Idol and agree that he may not have the time for it even it if were there for him.
The crazy train had some engine problems when trying to run on the RCA rails but it is going to turn into a bullet train this next time out.

I think I saw somewhere that for the studio versions, the original tracks were used - at least the original arrangements. As an homage to the original musicians, I guess.
