Yup! I was at Ontario and those were my first ever concert videos! Loved the Idol tour! You had a great view and no people jumping up and waving their arms in front of you. Where were your seats? |

I don't think the other stars' fans are as passionate as Adam's are. I'll bet a large portion of that money was raised by Adam. While I get "the finger" it was a poor choice for universal appeal. For instance, my daughter is a High School counselor and LOVES the whole idea around "the new F word" being friend. But they can't use it because of the logo/photos. I agree with you totally. I just wish they would have stuck with the FRIEND as the new f word and not the image. I know we have hashed this here so I move on. Anyway I heard a lovely interview on NPR today with the young man that wrote this little film. I don't remember seeing it posted here. If it was I apologize. eta: and it is a bit off topic. perhaps adam would tweet the link if he knew about it....  |

I thought Adam's stint with GLEE will be just fun and mellow.. probably with this tragic turn of events... the writers will also be affected and there may be more depth and drama in the storey line and the song choices... I wonder what it will be like , if they let Adam sing TIme for Miracles , acoustic /unplugged version...  |

My son has a new (past few months) girl friend -- very nice we really like her. But tonight I learned she is an ADAM FAN!! Now I know I love her! And that my son has excellent taste!

I thought Adam's stint with GLEE will be just fun and mellow.. probably with this tragic turn of events... the writers will also be affected and there may be more depth and drama in the storey line and the song choices... I wonder what it will be like , if they let Adam sing TIme for Miracles , acoustic /unplugged version... That would be beautiful. |

I was in the first section off the floor closest to stage, about the 4th row. Can you hear all the screaming? Not my section. The people in front of me stay seated the whole show! |

Just a thought.... Heidi and Mel are both self proclaimed Adam fans. Do you think this could have something to do with the use of TFM an Adam vocal? I have been thinking of this very thing. Of all the songs in the world they have to choose from, why choose this one? It is not a current song(although as an Adam fan, I so love it). Is it just a coincidence? Either someone on that show is a BIG Glambert....or.....maybe this is all part of what I call "The Master Plan." People working behind the scenes to get Adam noticed and out there. I'm sure many people listening/watching that sequence on the show do not know Adam. But well placed music like that is a start. Then again, maybe I am reading too much into these coincidences and need a HUGE tin hat! |

And I think you're right about Adam. I found that very moving. You see, one of my best friends in college was an Asian-American guy who looked a little like this kid, and half-way through the first semester of freshman year he cautiously came out to me--I think I was one of the early people he'd told. Early but not first: in high school, my friend (who came from a fairly religious family) had fallen in love with his best friend, and towards the end of senior year he'd screwed up his nerve and finally decided to tell him. The best friend freaked out and didn't speak to him for more than a year afterwards. It crushed him, and made every coming out experience after that a true struggle, and truly brave. Breaks my heart to think of it. Fortunately, the story has a happy ending: my dear friend is now engaged to be married to a wonderful guy. It does get better. |
