E could be Spike Edney – plays keyboards, piano, rhythm guitar, backing vocals in the touring band since 1984 -- not an original band member, but with the band since 1984.
W is an upside down M for Brian May.

OK this is a fantasy -- and 99.9% impossible. D could be John Deacon. Deacon has only performed with Queen 3 times since Freddie died -- the last time in 1997.
The 4 could be for all 4 members of the band back together.

According to the best Queen watcher I know, Deacon still plays bass privately. So he hasn't retired from playing music.

There are three obvious unknowns that might be the subject on the "arts and craft" video clue: Queen/AL, Idol and new label. The problem with Queen being the subject IMO is that Brian May has already told us that there would be two concerts, one in US and one in London, and they would be televised so that doesn't seem like enough of a mystery to play a game of clue. I am on team Idol, but that is mostly because I want him in the show because I think it would be such great exposure, he wants it and it would be so fun to see him as a judge. The more Adam on TV the better. The label is really about business, and I think this kind of word game goes better with performance info. It will probably be about something that is not even on our radar screen like Glee.

It is ridiculous but I am going with the 4 living members of the Queen touring band will reunite and play the iTunes Festival in London with Adam singing lead.

ETA: The Adam mention in that E! video is because he is the most famous Idol who auditioned in San Francisco. They also mention William Hung. And at least Ryan says that Adam and William Hung are from opposite sides of the spectrum. But sounds like 4 new judges. Ryan does not say 4 judges -- he say "We are finalizing the judges which will be different. |
