Most of the time in Germany.  This makes me think of the red light district, which Adam spent a lot of time in in Berlin.  Remember when we DREW!!!  The drawing of Adam's that everyone remembers is his picture of Berlin with Kit Kat Club on the hat. The Kit Kat Club is a very famous sex club. (It is supposed to be the nightclub in Cabaret.) Adam spent a lot of time there when he was in Berlin in 2003. He was particularly fond of their swing.  |

The mashed potato speculation has been so fun for me to follow. I love the creativity! I'll take a stab at it to join in the fun:
Adam has a fascination with how high school kids sign yearbooks. I remember him using the abbreviation "KIT" a while back for "Keep in Touch" when he was talking about some type of pain he or others experienced in high school. Okay, the composition book in which Adam and Ashley are writing looks like a yearbook and therefore signifies high school to Adam. He writes a message on an angle and in a corner like one would if they were signing a yearbook. "Remember when we DREW" is because his appearance on Glee (in the 4th episode) will be in a high school setting (could just be school and not high school.) Adam will be working on the musical "Rock of Ages" and may be tutoring pupils who want to play or audition for the role of "Drew" (one of the main characters of Rock of Ages.) Remember when Darren Criss wore the Dragon Attack jacket and people said Adam wore it better? Well he will now be able to "school" Darren or whomever in how to be a rock star. And Adam attending the Broadway musical "Rock of Ages" recently in NYC was related if not only as a mere tutorial. There will be lots of 80's rock songs that Adam will be singing (is this related to RCA's 80's album theme?). Adam Shankman who directed the movie version of "Rock of Ages" and has directed several Glee episodes in the past and who has referenced our Adam's name when he was describing who he wanted to cast in the ROA movie will be the director of this (or these) episodes.

Wow that was a lot of mashed potatoes!
I just got caught up, after a week off-line and now my stomach heart is full.
But I got to join that guessing game somehow. Actually, most things I came up with have already been brought up.
I agree, Queen will be only the two shows as Brian indicated, and I also don't think that Adam would be playing around with announcements that would not be his to make, so I don't think that the DREW video was about Queen. Even though the i-tunes / apple connection was intriguing.
I actually thought it (the DREW video) was about idol too. As in, 4 fingers for the 4 judges, of which one is Adam (hence painted). And that knowing grin along with it, made this the most likely scenario for me. And of course all these constant mentions of Adam (Miley Cirus on GMA with Seacrest), now another Seacrest mention during auditions as well as Adam's interview with him, even though there is no music to promote and on and on and on it seems to go with idol clues. Many others have been mentioned, no need to repeat.
I am personally a bit worried about the idol gig, given how much this show is in trouble, but obviously, Adam wants it and so I will be happy for him and hope that otherwise the rest of the new team is coming together well and they can really turn it around. Actually think that Miley would be a good addition at this point. She has grown up quite a bit, this is not Hannah Montana anymore. In fact, if you ask me which kid star recently made a rather smooth transition to adulthood in the public eye, then she would be pretty high on my list. Don't know whether she will have good judgement of other people's singing, but obviously, she is interested in no drama from the bench and that is a start over last year. I guess, the demands are not so high anymore after 3 years of disaster, lol.
Back to Adam.
One hint that I have not yet seen discussed was in the interview with SLO radio station.
He was asked what he is listening to these days, and he basically said, independent artists and the DJ did not like the answer and so he cut him off there. He could have said rock and transitioned into his message that he is leaning more towards R&R with his new music, but he did not. He did want to talk about that, because he squeezed this part in at the end, but when the question was asked, he said independent artists.
In the past, Adam answered this question by saying that he listens to what is typically on the charts, sometimes pointing to certain artists like Rihanna (also RCA). Sometimes he also answered that he listens to the typical Divas (Xtina, Beyonce, Pink, etc). Again, he was representing big label at the time. It is how he understood his promotional role as a representative artist with RCA, I presume. Not that it was not also true, of course it was, Adam does not make up stuff. But Adam has a great way of finding within all the possible choices that would be honest answers, the one that has marketability.
So, now there is a clear change in storyline and I believe therefore that we will not get a label announcement anytime soon. Adam will fly on his own, is my mashed potato and will later go for a distribution deal. He will partner for promotional purposes with someone and if you ask me about 'new team', then I think there is something in the works and it will entail Shoshanna and many others and have a leg on both sides of the Atlantic.
So far for my contribution to the growing potato mountain.

And how about the swing dancing he & Ashley were doing (to the rinky-dink music)? Remember the swing at the Kit Kat Club in Berlin? It's a huge stretch but all of the theories seem to be huge stretches. And a QAL performance in Berlin won't help me anyway, so no dog in this fight. Oh wait!!!!!!! With Trespassing he became the executive producer so he could have more control.He has also offered some of his songs to ,I believe One Direction. He said he was a control freak,now He is free to do what he wants to do and with a loving fan base and a world wide Star reputation.IMHO I think ADAM has a lot he wants to do creatively and business wise.

I'm watching a stupid movie about aliens attacking (battleship) and a scene comes up with a small boy playing baseball as the catcher. He shows 4 fingers as a signal and I stop watching my movie to go figure out what 4 fingers mean. In Base ball:4 fingers are usually shown to communicate a change up, then google takes me to sign language. Where the 4 fingers mean B  I think I will go take my meds now.  |
