I tried for Vegas tickets on Ticketmaster, but of course the event was sold out.
I would be willing to pay premium prices, but only if this were truly a Q+A concert, and not just a festival appearance. I also have to admit, that back in 2006, I paid $500 for a nosebleed ticket to see Streisand at the MGM. I can cross a Streisand concert off my bucket list, but there is not much of a performer-audience connection possible from the MGM's upper-upper balconies.
So I guess I will watch on TV and hope for more concerts in the future.

Okay, I'm usually wrong with any guess I've made, but I try.  First I thought 4 fingers can mean 4 judges on Idol so with some other clues it might be Adam as one of the judges on Idol. But then I got another idea: Mountains (those hils in the drawing), Tree, V (Adam's arms in the pic make the letter). And those four fingers are not 4 days, but 4 months - so it means some MTV event that takes place four months from now (in November). Probably not true, but I had to try. |

No, he didn't! He hasn't said that for months. And what he did say, then was "If I were asked I'd be thrilled." In his recent red carpet, the interviewer asked him in 3 different ways, "You once said, if you were asked you'd be thrilled. How do you feel?" Adam: "I feel the same" Interviewer, "Have you been asked?" Adam: "I feel the same" Interviewer "You would be thrilled?" Adam: "I feel the same" ![]() Sounds like the boy is on a gag order to me!  |

I've been thinking, you know when Adam has a hit and his popularity explodes it is going to be increasingly hard to get concert tickets. I'm really worried, because 1) I know this will eventually happen for Adam and 2) I don't want to get priced out of seeing Adam perform live. I know these ticket outlets buy up blocks of tickets. Is there any way that we, as a fan site, would be able to purchase a block of tickets ourselves. I know absolutely nothing about how tickets for concerts are sold, but maybe this could be something we could look into. Just imagine a whole section of Atoppers at an Adam concert! That would be so much fun! If he explodes, he will play bigger venues and maybe even consecutive nights at one venue, so I wouldn't worry. This is a nice dream to dream for him! |

Last thing I remember him saying when asked about Idol is "I still feel the same" , namely he would be thrilled. |

ETA: The Adam mention in that E! video is because he is the most famous Idol who auditioned in San Francisco. They also mention William Hung. And at least Ryan says that Adam and William Hung are from opposite sides of the spectrum. But sounds like 4 new judges. Ryan does not say 4 judges -- he say "We are finalizing the judges which will be different." They actually haven't, for years. Not since before JLo and Steven. BUT! This year I am hoping they will. They need to. The "sinking ship" meme needs to be turned around and fast! We were discussing the TCAs on Twitter last week and if FOX is smart, they will announce the judges for this. |

I thought that the Fan Club pre-sale basically served the function of providing hard core fans with tickets? Maybe we could work with the Fan Club to get a block of tickets if we all want to sit together. For concerts without a Fan Club pre-sale, I suspect if they could not negotiate for the tickets, it will be hard for us to do so. Maybe the Fan Club could do it but I doubt it. Ticketmaster and many venues have an advance group sales program. But it would need to be a secondary market. I bet the Mid-California State Fair would have done something for a group. >> But there is a trade off -- the tickets are not up front. Fan club gets pretty good ticket blocks. Not the best, but far better than the general public. Promotional events, like iHeartRadio, no chance. Same for something like the iTunes Festival which has a promo lottery for the 160 tickets in the iTunes raffle. The fan club sold excellent tickets for both Del Mar and Paso Robles. Many fans got front row seats at Paso! Another reason why the audience was so nuts!! |
