Didn't Q3 announce a few days ago that the new threads would be posted later for two weeks or so because she was going somewhere... I'm not sure I remember it right. She even gave the new time they would be posted, by Tinafea, I think...

I'm going to drop off a little ear worm for you all. You will want to listen even though it's only about 5 seconds max. I'm sure someone will soon rip this into a never ending loop. Starts at 4:20. As far as I can tell from following the tracklists site www.1001tracklists.com/track/142502_avicii-feat.-nile-rodgers-lay-me-down/index.html the song has only been played 3 times and there are not a lot of videos out of any song. He may have almost 4 million twitter followers but there are not a lot of videographers in the crowd, they are there to dance. Anyway, any glamberts hoping to record the song at his next gig may be disappointed. DJs are supposed to play music for the crowd and not a set list (although Avicii doesn't follow that advice a lot). This was the clearest audio so far - but alas, only a few seconds. I'm not familiar with that tracklists site and here it's not accurate. The festival in Bråvalla was June 29, 2013 (not in May). I also found this from Budapest July 26, 2013. The audio is very distorted just like the others, the beat starts at 7'15-7'30, singing at 7'40 www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBCZ_LzZj0o The performance in Budapest was connected with F1 race and Avicii's collaboration with Lotus premiering a new track 'Speed'. There might be more videos if somebody wants to do some digging. I've had enough of the relentless beat for a while. I did check two other locations. *Las Vegas (June 22) where the YT was labeled by Sems Edwin to be the whole set but it was a little bit shorter than f.ex. in Bråvalla and closed with Levels. No 'Lay me down' there. *Helsinki (June 7) videos were mostly clips of already published tracks, three videos were about 8-10 mins long. One of the long ones was from the beginning of the set and two from the end where Avicii closed his set with Levels (clearly leaving the stage etc). No 'Lay me down'. Avicii did perform in South Korea and Hong Kong together with Singapore; Dominican Republic, Brazil (Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro), then in Ibiza and spent some time in Southern France and a gig in London. (This info from his twitter, I haven't tried to find any website for tour dates which would, of course, give a better picture.) He may have played 'Lay me down' in these locations - or not. ETA Las Vegas info corrected. |
