Not convinced the new article isn't 50% BS. IDK. Isn't it the exact same thing Shirley said last Thursday? Pretty much the same but with the addition of the internal issues with who is actually running Idol. Looks like too many cooks in this kitchen. And they make it seem like JHud is still in the mix. If they really want 3 judges, and they want a country judge, and they do not pick a country female judge (Kim Perry), I can't seen how there is a chair for Adam. Plus, I do not believe they will have 2 of 3 judges from Idol so if they go with JHud, I do not think Adam is in. Possible panel examples.... JLo, a black male judge, Keith JHud, Keith, a producer (Dr. Luke?, can't imagine Idol would go with Pharrel and have two of three black judges) Kim Perry, a black male judge, Adam I think it is either 4 judges or no Keith if Adam gets a slot. ETA: Fuller always acts in his own self-interest. If he has any power in this decision, JLo is back. Urggggh! (And if it is JLo, will.i.am and Keith, I am not watch Idol.) *** Here are some GLEE Season 5 spoilers -- none of these parts sounds like Adam to me: tvline.com/2013/07/30/greys-anatomy-season-10-derek-meredith-spoilers-ask-ausiello/

My thoughts on AI? Why did they need to go abroad to hire someone stupid when our homegrown stupid producers proved themselves to be totally up to the job of running Idol into the ground And you said it in one sentence. (Ok, two.) And Q3, I agree, Adam hasn't really been jerked around by Idol. I'm in the bubble and have to open my eyes sometimes. I think Idol has actually been very good to Adam. The slight bit of "jerking" around regarding the judging is probably just par for the course for this kind of thing. I wonder how many potential judges every year are on hold, on a short list, a long list, in limbo... etc. I still maintain though... Idol needs a kick in the ass apart from the judges to regain some excitement.

I'm a bit surprised that Idol would go with JLo after the negative publicity of The Voice turning her down. Smacks of leftovers to me. Ryan's comment about Idol viewers being very happy with the new panel doesn't jive with JLo, Keith & JHud. Neither of the females seem to resonate with the Idol audience. Keith is fine but certainly nothing new or exciting.
Oh well. I was determined not to get sucked in this time but apparently it happened without my conscious mind being involved because I find myself on the brink of being livid again if this happens.
I say IF because the fat lady hasn't yet sung!!

Winks "Idol needs a kick in the ass apart from the judges to regain some excitement."
Absolutely!!
And the idea that they are even considering will.i.am just shows they do not have a clue who and what people like. will.i.am is not a fun, interesting or articulate celebrity.
I hope that someone just stuffs a sock in Fuller mouth and say go away you fucked Idol up enough already with your self-dealing.

I say IF because the fat lady hasn't yet sung!! The Wrap report is that if it is JLo, JHud is out. Shirley Halperin reported the same thing last week. And it appears that there will be a country judge -- probably Keith. And there has to be a black judge. So that gives you JLo, Keith and will.i.am. I still think they could have 4 judges and that changes everything. Also, who would have put the JLo-Voice story out there? Someone trying to stop FOX from picking her. Because at the end of the day, FOX is writing this check. I hope it works because she would be a big $20 million mistake! But scared execs do stupid things and no one wants to make a decision that costs Idol to drop another 25% in the ratings.

I just remember reading that a couple of weeks ago they were still talking to Adam. Of course this might just be wild speculation, but suppose they were far from giving Adam what he wanted and they never brokered a deal. I mean It's possible.. right?? Now that Adam is a free man he can negotiate what he wants more easily. Just because he said he would sign on the line if offered judgeship.. suppose they offered just too little.

I agree. If this article is true, Adam is out. But a panel of Keith, JLo and Will.i.am? It looks like the new producing team is suffering from a huge lack of imagination. With the exception of J-Hud, the judges would be a panel of people who are reality show judging re-treads. Poor Idol. New cooks in the kitchen, serving up cold leftovers. :( honestly when they said adam joined glee thats when I thought Idol was screwed I seriously doubt Adam would do both but a glambert can only Dream

This is twice in two days that this message about "people who love the things you love" has shown up. The first was yesterday when Avicii says he has nothing to prove. "For me it will be successful if it resonates with people -- no matter how many," he said. "It's what I stand for, so whoever loves it loves what I love. That's what fans are to me." This this beautiful video. I'm glad to be with you all who "love the things I love." I've been reading Will's blog for the last year. He talks pretty candidly about dealing with depression, the pressure of stardom at a young age, interacting with fans, posing for pictures, finding oneself after being associated with a huge tv show. A lot he and Adam could have in common. I've been pretty happy with him. (lol, yes us fans do judge how good the object of our fandom is )
