Does anything like this ever happen to anyone? I was watching an episode of "Everybody Hates Chris" and the song "Notorious" is playing in the background. So I say to DH, "Nile Rodgers produced that song, and Nile worked with Adam". Then the Chris character is giving a speech for class president, and the song playing in the background is "Under Pressure" by Queen. So of course I say "Adam sang that". Then Chris finishes up his speech by saying "A Change is Gonna Come!" And then I say Adam sang that. So three Adam references within a span of about 10 minutes.

Quote: '....the evil Dr. Luke cannot get his paws on Adam's tracks ever again! (I hope.)' I hope you are right. His name is mentioned for KP's PRISM, so his reach extends beyond RCA, unfortunately. But perhaps he cannot be forced down Adam's throat anymore, should Adam not want it. We will see. Otherwise, totally agreed. Love to see where Adam is otherwise, on so many levels.

This is really comical, actually. Interesting how other fan-bases are struggling with basic industry facts and information. Of course, a single d/l is not all of a sudden going to be counted as an album, just because it is run via a custom app. Nowhere in this whole back and forth on that tumblr post does anyone point out the obvious, that Gaga does this via an own app, not to increase any sales counts, but rather so that she can avoid giving a cut of 30 % to i-tunes or amazon. In fact, I predict that within months now, all major labels will offer such an app. It makes sense to have it, they don't have to code it artist specific, they just make it flexible enough that they can offer it for every artist who has music to be downloaded. In fact, this solution might do for mobile apps d/l market what the online stores have done for CDs and laptop d/l. Undercut Amazon and i-tunes and retain a bit more money for the house.
