You know the thought just occurred to me that the last 2 days illustrate how a passionate fan base can help an artist. The original article with Avicii, also talked about the Image Dragons song. They are huge right now! But the fact that we confirmed Adam's voice with the Avicii fanbase site is what has these videos being put in the subsequent articles! (I think)

Also the fan excitement for new Adam music was all over the web in little glittery posts and hits to articles. Setting that aside, Adam has worked very hard to build good relationships with the press -- and that pays off every day.  It pays to be nice!!! |

According to a good source on ATL -- Katy Perry will be touring in Spring 2014. And contract have been cut for venues in March. The pretty much means she can't be an Idol judge. Not that she has ever indicated wanting to be an Idol judge, or there is any reliable info that she is talking to Idol this year, or that it even makes sense for her to release a new album in November and then do Idol vs. a o $100 million - $200 million global tour.
California Dreams Tour (2011) was $50 million, #13 US, #16 worldwide gross. She has not tour and just done one-off concerts since then. And the next tour will not include theaters -- all level 1 arenas.
ETA: Jazz Rocks that one is great!!! I am addicted to this song!! It may be my favorite Adam track ever -- who would have thought a neo-disco track would be on my replay. (Well until the next new track!)

I will have to admit that I really liked the Katy Perry as a companion judge to Adam rumor. Now I will happily jump on the Miley band wagon She seems smart, fun and very grounded for a former child star, talented, and is a long time fan of Adam. I remember when she was hosting a Canadian awards show when FYE was new, she introduced him a one of her favorites. I think it was telling that she blurted out his name in her RS/iHeart interview. Why was she so excited about him? Sorry for speculating but I was hungry for mashed potatoes.
Adam has so many fabulous things going on right now that whatever happens with Idol is not a huge deal. I think that working with Avicii has so much potential to help send his career to new heights. It is an extremely fun song.
