I will have to admit that I really liked the Katy Perry as a companion judge to Adam rumor. Now I will happily jump on the Miley band wagon She seems smart, fun and very grounded for a former child star, talented, and is a long time fan of Adam. I remember when she was hosting a Canadian awards show when FYE was new, she introduced him a one of her favorites. I think it was telling that she blurted out his name in her RS/iHeart interview. Why was she so excited about him? Sorry for speculating but I was hungry for mashed potatoes. Adam has so many fabulous things going on right now that whatever happens with Idol is not a huge deal. I think that working with Avicii has so much potential to help send his career to new heights. It is an extremely fun song. I agree with you on all of this! And I love, love, love that song! I can't wait til it's out and I can listen on my IPod and blast it in the car. |

Well, looks like Idol has picked another unlikable panel. Will.i.am has received nothing but very negative responses on blogs and articles I've read. JLo was not extremely popular the first time. Keith is very nice and good looking, but dull. On the other hand, Adam's possibility has been roundly praised including the wonderful NPH endorsement yesterday. Onward and upward with Glee and new music. |

Onward and upward with Glee and new music. Pretty much my thoughts exactly. But I am so burnt out with Idol judges rumors, I am not sure I care anymore. There is this idea floating around that Adam's casting on Glee involved Fox, but since Fox does not produce Glee, that scenario seems unlikely. If The Wrap story is true, then it looks like Adam is not a possible judge. |

Thank goodness Adam is going to be on Glee. I'm nowhere near as invested in the Idol judge rumors this year as I was last year. If he gets it, that would be great. But if he doesn't, he's got the exposure that Glee is going to give him. It's Idol's funeral if they sign up will.i.am. or bring back J-Lo. That panel is going to be met with one giant yawn from America.

that Wrap article seems to be an abreviated rehash of THR scoop. unortunately it sounds as a possibility and will kill the show even if they introduce various format changes. From my own selfish pov it'll be a relief not to have to watch ai. glee is so much better!
i really want this to be over, and i want ai to be over so we dont have to go thru this crap every summer.

I just don't know what to believe anymore. I was reading that JLo's mgmt is putting this out so she will get considered for AI, since she was rejected from the Voice.
Sadz. Won't be broken-hearted, because if this is true, the ship has sunk.
