The Nile interview was a bit of an enthusiastic mess, lol. Some nice words about Adam: we just cut a smash with Avicii, great great great record, Lay me down, it's smokin'; AL bringing the house down. I also noticed that when listing the guests he didn't mention Avicii (although he has said that Avicii will be there) and later on he said there will be 'one gigantic superstar'. I'm thinking that he might be referring to Avicii - but you never know, maybe it's Daft Punk after all and the slip was really a slip. WOW that was fast ...good memory!!! It is one thing to have vague memories but to locate that vid...shheeeessh.

CRAZY.... the things we remember about Adam. Thanks for confirming my recollection. (Oh my .... the insecurities, or motivations or histories he writes about......in LMD) My friend, Google, helped me find the first vid. It took me a few, but I actually did remember the source of the clip. Exactly 2 years ago, August 5, 2011, I posted the Mardi Gras Australia info from Adam's March 2010 FYE promo tour. I spent about 2 weeks gathering the material from his 6 days there. Anyway, this is the original interview. That interviewer was hilarious...and Adam wore her gift of those tights she gave him...like her own, as he liked them so much. (Weren't they the ones he rocked in Japan when the kids had that Adam Lambert look-alike contest??? One of my least fav Adam looks.)
That interview had a learning experience for me. I had to laugh when I re listened to it.
There was a conversation that came up, maybe a year ago when the topic of whether Adam like the shaved or unshaven...and I thought unshaven considering his past boyfriends "look". So I posted unshaven based on the boyfriends having beard growth.
Little did I know that unshaven/shaven was not referring to beards!
How was I to know that interviewer with her questionning, was taking Adam down lanes I had never travelled.
Kim et al.... so advised me of my misunderstanding. LOL
Just like I never even knew there was such a thing as an urban dictionary until this fanning of Adam.

Maybe the fact that the "Adam and Nile song" has the poorest sound on the Avicii preview tells us they are "holding it back", that is,
saving it for more promotion later. Yeah, right now, the sound is out of focus. The emphasis is on Avicii's first single and the album.
At the same time, the label may be "teasing" LAY ME DOWN. When you are teasing, you don't want to give away too much too soon.
You want to build anticipation.
So maybe poor sound has a meaning.
