I cannot remember the Nicky Arnstein character singing ANY songs in Funny Girl? Did he? They wouldn't have Adam play a character who doesn't sing, would they? True, Nicky wasn't a big singing part, but most of the singing on Glee is not for a performance, it's in the classroom (both in Ohio and NYC), or at a party, or some other place like the middle of a GAP store. It's like they have flash mobs every ten or fifteen minutes. Adam could be singing while standing in line at Whole Foods or Starbucks as easily as on a stage. |

Harry Reems was considered pretty good looking in his day. He was a porn star (famous for Deep Throat). So to say Adam was reminiscent of a porn star on the red carpet at Lovelace is not an insult. I do not think there are many unattractive porn STARS. and we all know Adam has nothing against porn.

The storyline would be about the actor playing Nick, not about Nick. It would be his interactions with Lea and others. There would probably be very few actual Funny Girl performance songs. I'm sure Lea will get one, but the Glee stories would be about daily lives of the people, like Rachel (Lea.) |
