In response to bullsfan: I agree. Adam may not be as big a star, esp to Glee fans, as some of the main characters on Glee, but he is eons more talented than any of them (except possibly Lea). I can't see Glee making Adam THE star of the musical, and even if they did, Glee fans would resent it. If Adam appeared in a Broadway show, he would be THE star, and it would be a great role, possibly a classic. IMO, Adam was meant to be on Broadway in a huge, huge production. He has the vocals, performance skills and charisma. And, I feel I'm not even exaggerating. I have to agree Adam would so out sing,out stage & out perform all but Lea. She's a broadway,off broadway stage kid with a great voice. |

I am a Katy fan and I love Roar. It is different than the Teenage Dream songs. Has more of a Pop/Rock sound. Yes, I agree. I am really looking forward to hearing the rest of this album because I suspect that they did not lead with her strongest track. That will be #2 or #3 -- or at least that is what they certain hope to achieve. I'm a Katy fan too, but it seems so stinkin unfair - Adam could have had some hits off of Trespassing if damn radio had played his songs. Cuckoo could have broke big, IMO. Others of his songs could have been hits too if sung by a radio darling. I don't know - the whole radio game drives me crazy - and the fact that radio can make you or break you for sales, concerts, name recognition, etc. Why does Adam have to work a hundred times as hard to be heard. DAMN! |

If you have the time flip through a couple of allowed on line pages and also read the comments.. It's an older book that has been updated to go with the age of YouTube,Pandora,streaming,etc. This book makes signing a record label pretty risky business, and IMHO Adam has been burned a couple of times already. I will wait and not angst about a deal.. I think Adam knows what to do and when to do it ..In the mean time I'm thrilled with what Adam is doing in the here and now.. Amazing stuff Maybe Adam wants to get all of his demos for the A3 done and then shop around for a label that gets the music he wants to record. |

If Adam had Katy Perry success or even Bruno Mars, it could be a possibility they might allow him to sing his own songs. He has had only one successful song and one moderately successful one. I wouldn't count on Glee letting Adam sing his own songs. I don't even think it's that type of show, anyway.

I have no idea what Glee is planning,but IMHO Adam has two successful albums..Both FYE & Trespassing#1 on BB 200 with lots of great critiques.. it doesn't all have to do with radio play.. He also did concert tours around the world with the Trespassing album.. There are very successful artists who are not played on radio frequently. Glee does many covers that probably never went to #1,they do songs from all different eras, that happen to fit in with their story line.. Not sure that some of Adam's songs won't stand the test of time and become classics..One never knows what the future will bring..  |

They have had opera/boradway musical songs too. So I could see them doing maybe 1 of Adam's songs if it fits in, but only if it really fits the script. I don't see them doing a whole show dedicated to Adam's songs, at least not this season. |
