HaHa - your post above of the "girls" from the old SNL crew may have given you away... But anyone who doesn't remember Arte from Laugh In should take a look - some of those old shows were great fun!

Do we have a thread or forum here exclusively for Adam's twitter parties? Trying to find out when his last one was (before that Fri. One a week ago) and can't :( Don't know if this was already answered but just in case not, here is the link (thread) to Adam's tweets (including twitter parties) .... WAL, our News Wizard, updates this thread all the time..... adamtopia.com/thread/377/adam-lambert-tweets?page=115

Thanks Houselady.... I looked the original Natalie up...had a different last name. That Natalie was great and was an Australian singer too. It was an All News interview for SYTYCD in 2010 right before Mardi Gras. That's the one where he said "I want to be famous downunder". ETA....Waves at LindaG !!! I totally agree with your comment about not releasing LWOG. No no no no no... He said "I want to be BIG downunder"... big difference! www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQ96rWYNVKo&feature=relatedThis interview is a hoot!! Love their faces when Adam realizes that he just said "I want to be big down under"!!

www.amazon.com/Confessions-Record-Producer-Anniversary-Edition/dp/0879309482/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1376251975&sr=8-1&keywords=confessions+of+a+record+producer. If you have the time flip through a couple of allowed on line pages and also read the comments.. It's an older book that has been updated to go with the age of YouTube,Pandora, streaming, etc. This book makes signing a record label pretty risky business, and IMHO Adam has been burned a couple of times already.OMG I read the parts they allow you to read...record company wins each and every time.. no wonder Adam never bought a house.. Not a nice industry. Even the Indie companies ,for the most part are connected to the big 3/4 record companies.. As an artist according to this book, You really have to sell many, many millions of records to make money.. like Bieber or Gaga,Katy.. this book is an eye opener. I will wait and not angst about a deal.. I think Adam knows what to do and when to do it ..In the mean time I'm thrilled with what Adam is doing in the here and now.. and he doesn't have 19 or RCA taking all the profits. Maybe Adam wants to get all of his demos for the A3 done and then shop around for a label that gets the music he wants to record.

If Adam had Katy Perry success or even Bruno Mars, it could be a possibility they might allow him to sing his own songs. He has had only one successful song and one moderately successful one. I wouldn't count on Glee letting Adam sing his own songs. I don't even think it's that type of show, anyway. But not everything they sing on the show is from a high selling artist. They have had opera/boradway musical songs too. So I could see them doing maybe 1 of Adam's songs if it fits in, but only if it really fits the script. I don't see them doing a whole show dedicated to Adam's songs, at least not this season. Didn't that We Are Young song become popular after Glee covered it? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Are_YoungWhy couldn't they do the same with Cuckoo?

As much as I long to see Adam on Broadway, I am not thrilled with the Glee idea. Glee is an ensemble show, and I assume it would be the same on stage. I don't want Adam as part of an ensemble on stage again. He needs to be the STAR! I am thinking more Les Miz, Phantom, Jesus Christ Superstar. Something with a meaty role vocally and character wise.
Additionally, the Glee "kids" are fine as TV high school pop singers, but, most don't have the voice we expect from a Broadway show. Remember that all their singing on the show is recorded in a studio: multiple takes, enhanced vocals, auto-tune, etc. Very different from musical theater on a stage. Adam's voice and stage experience would blow them all away, which wouldn't really fit with the ensemble idea.
It reminds me of "A Chorus Line." If you are familiar with it, there are a bunch of singer/dancers auditioning to be in the chorus of a show. The lead girl was a headliner who had fallen on hard times and was trying to get a job in the chorus. The director didn't want her because she was too good, too polished, and in a chorus line all are supposed to seamlessly blend in, which she could not do because she was so much better than the others. Adam would be the same.
IMO, YMMV.
