From the standpoint of someone who doesn't live in such a diverse society, and therefore doesn't have a clue, I have to say that this whole AI judgeship insistence on including all major ethnicities seems a bit vulgar to me. Like members of Hispanic etnicity won't watch if they're not represented? I don't get it. It's like some kind of reverse racism, or anti-racism gone wrong. Sorry for the heavy word. Is it some kind of an unspoken rule or is it contractual? Or is it just business, something they find most profitable? I don't know... it feels wrong to me.

Ha, ha! I have been freaking out all morning but was just able to get on-line!! Ack!! Idol, why are you fuckin with my head!!!!!!!!! Seriously, I have always felt will.i.am was a prospect and not a certainty. And while JLo approval runs about 50/50 for Idol bloggers, entertainment sites and fans, I have seen nothing but negative reactions to Will. I do agree that they will want a person of color. But the thing that made me think, that Will wasn't certain, the most.... was when Randy's name suddenly popped up as "being involved in some capacity." Do I think Randy will judge again? No, that would be idiotic for so many reasons. But if Randy helped the kids choose songs & did song production, and they showed the process.... then that takes care of an Afro American. And Reilly did mention in some interview that they would be showing more backstage stuff. So, we'd have, Puerto Rican, White Country Aussie, Gay, and Randy doing whatever he is going to do. I am confused., myspenser...who would be your Gay judge? I'm sure she means Clay Aiken .

It's an unspoken rule, or gentleman's agreement as it's sometimes called. (For example, the city council where I live has at-large representation -- one seat is just known to be the "black seat" and one the Hispanic seat and people of other races are not supposed to run for those seats; and the reverse is true). Aleks, Americans like to quantify everything and make it into a system. Anything further I could say would get into areas that are very controversial here in the States.

Interesting twitter conversation with Shoshanna.
Gelly @14gelly RT @ PattiHum: @ shoshanna stone What percent of your job is rumor control, would you say? Gelly @14gellyRT @ shoshanna stone: @ PattiHum a lot. Sometimes helping them spread, other times putting a stop to them Gelly @14gelly RT @ PattiHum: @ shoshanna stone Ahh, the spreading part, I see. But your clients are so positive. Not as much "squashing?" shoshanna stone @shoshannastone @pattihum ha ha. Not the case. Maybe a story we don't want spreading even if not bad, maybe a story that isn't true but out there, maybe shoshanna stone @shoshannastone@pattihum not the right time for it or we want to tell it a different way. Lots of reasons to control a story ETA: shoshanna stone @shoshannastone

I'm trying to understand Canadian geography.
The province is Quebec.
The city for the Balloon Festival was Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC.
Montreal is another city in the province of Quebec.
According to Google, they are 47 km apart.
I believe Adam's hotel was in Montreal.
