Setting aside the B5s for a second -- I love the sweet, soft section of Trespassing from 0:49-0:56! Who sounds like this? Seriously the tone, clarity, and quality of that small bit is indescribable. [Cassie help -- what is he doing that makes it sound like that?]

thank you so much!!!! yes, unfortunately record labels HATE when master tracks and that kind of stuff make their way online..

for Trespassing I mashed up his vocals with the instrumental of "Metal & Wood" by Tyrone Wells, and for Aftermath.... I've used solely the acoustic guitar, his raw lead vocal and the strings from the original track!

That is his voice when he doesn't put power behind it, doesn't add an edge to it, doesn't add a squeeze or a rasp, doesn't add any "twang" which makes a more piercing sound. That's his natural, light, resonant voice. I LOVE IT! |
