Hi! After lurking here (too many times a day)for a couple of years, I've decided to go ahead and register... I discovered Adam during the Idol auditions. Missed seeing the Hollywood rounds, then caught up again during the shows. Saw him in Puyallup during GNT. Probably won't post much because my DH does NOT approve of my "obsession." (I'm really jealous of those of you whose significant others participate in your Adam activities with you!) Anyhow, I'm happy to have a place to come to to check up on Adam news!

Safe to say that nothing from Trespassing will see the "light of day" commercially. RCA owns these recording masters. And they clearly has no intent on investing a few hundred thousand dollars+ in promoting a single from Trespassing to US radio at this point. They already have been there twice.

I love Shady -- and it is clearly a fan favorite. BUT it is very, very unlikely that Shady would have ever been released as a single or, if it was, played by radio. Yes, it is done with Pharrell and Nile like "Get Lucky" but it is just not a fun summer radio song like "Get Lucky" is. I think a much bigger miss is Fever. Sounds dated now but would have been fine in 2010 -- and that song should have been a single. And Cuckoo should have been a single. Two big, big misses in my book.

On paper NCOE should have gotten more radio airplay. It is a perfectly fine song, well sung, nice production, it was connected to Bruno Mars, but there is just something about the song that does not connect. It is not my favorite Adam song, and the lyrics really do not make that much sense to me. There is a reason Bruno chose to pass on that song; I am puzzled why RCA A&R bought that song for Adam. It is not like you hear it and say, "Yes, let's spend big bucks on NCOE for Adam Lambert. He is a budding R&B/Reggae fusion artist. And those lyrics will really give him a lot of room to express himself."  I think the A&R folks at RCA said something like, "Bruno is #1, Adam can sign anything, have him sing a Bruno song and we'll have a hit."

Clearly, with their choices of BTIKM and NCOE, RCA A&R demonstrated that they did not understand Adam at all. I am glad he is out of there.
 
ETA: Depending on what you use with vapor cigs, they can be good for your overall health and immune system. I also have read that they can be beneficial for vocalists.
