Hi. I've decided to come out of lurking because I feel finally Adam is going in a direction that should have happened a long time ago. Adam has had some great opportunities but also a lot of mistakes has happened with that. With 19R/RCA no longer in the picture I feel now is when his career is just beginning. Welcome Daenerys!A very interesting post, could you elaborate please? What do you see as his current direction? What do you think the mistakes were? I have to say - I totally agree with your last sentence! Adam being introduced to an audience outside of his Idol fans. The mistakes that have been made can be shared by everyone from Adam, 19M/19R/RCA and the fans themselves. I believe DMG knows this and have taken the steps needed to finally start implementing their long term plan for Adam's career. I'm a believer that everything happens for a reason and where you are in your life is where you are suppose to be. I never felt it was good for Adam to have the typical overnight success story only to crash and burn like most Idols. Most Idols debut albums successes are artificially inflated so I never count them as a stepping stone to a continues successful career. I look at Adam's 2nd album as more in line to most artists beginning their careers. I read an interesting comment from Bill Werde, Editorial of Billboard Magazine, he basically said what makes an artist successful for the long run is hard work. People in the business want to see an artist work their butts off. They don't really like overnight stories like Idol, X factor and The Voice. He also said artists should endear themselves to people that matter like Producers, radio people, media, other artists etc.. If you have a lot of goodwill and build relationships behind the scenes it pays off for the artist. The rest is also having a good team behind you that believes in you. Barry Weiss believed in Adam that's why Adam had a good 1st era. Once he left RCA, Adam had no one that believed in him. I don't buy the fact that none of Adam's songs were radio friendly I buy the fact that the payola wasn't there for him. If you go to music boards everyone pretty much knows radio play is brought and paid for but you still need a good song. As a long time pop listener who actually love the genre the songs that fans love on the Trespassing album aren't the songs that would have worked on radio. Also labels have no problems wink wink to radio that particular artists aren't their top priority.

What law firm has he been working with? The past public filings have been handled by Gang, Tyre, Ramer & Brown, Inc. Beverly Hills, California Office (their main office). They are entertainment law specialists. Kevin S. Marks represented him on the Colwel Platinum mess. From Martindale.com: Gang, Tyre, Ramer & Brown, Inc. focuses on general transactional representation in the entertainment industries and also furnishes counseling and representation in connection with intellectual property, personal business matters, wealth transfers and real estate. Thanks so much for the info <3

“@nilerodgers I just got a beautiful email from @adamlambert. It's was a nice note to read before I rest tonight. He's a real gentlemen.”” Retweeted by Michele (◑_◑) I saw this tweet below in the member tweet section...from oblakickinin I checked Niles tweets and cannot find it ....so maybe I cannot interpret who initially sent the tweet. Before making a comment, I would appreciate someone's opinion on it. Thanks! It was sent by Niles on April 13, 2011 at 3:39AM . I wasn't sure which part of the world Nile was, at that time. Chuckling at date format issues.... It's a old tweet, but how old? The date format I have on my twitter screen is (for example) "8:08 PM - 23 Aug 13" - which would mean that the above tweet was from Apr 2013, not Apr 2011. Unless different people somehow display different date formats (ick!). Would Apr of this year be the time Adam and Nile recorded LMD?

Adam and Nile were in touch in April of this year, not two years ago, so this has to be 11th of April, 2013. Adam/Sam Sparro's first contact with Nile regarding Shady was in October of 2011.
Daenerys, thanks for your detailed answer. Interesting posts you are making.

The more people there are around to chat and debate on the boards here the better! :D Yeah, the group of us who love Adam's voice and music can have VERY different favourites, diverse backgrounds and all. (slightly sheepish grin here - I don't listen to radio) So, just out of curiosity, what are the songs that you feel might have worked on radio from Trespassing, if any?
