DJ KHALED is seated behind Adam. DJ KHALED is seated behind Nile. Adam and Nile may be sitting next to each other. I'm not sure about this, but they are at least sitting very close to each other.  Thanks Guys!  |

I just got here...and WUT!?!? Adam is both attending and presenting at the VMAs?? Not that I'm not thrilled (OMG, YAY!!!!) but...why???? He's been completely off the pop music radar for more than a year.

Avicii has too, once. It was in Miami. But he had a full band with him also. His fans hated it! There was an article about it I ran across! This is what I can't wrap my head around. Hearing a song exactly the same way every time. Why pay to hear something live when you can hear it for free exactly the same way at home. ??? I don't think it is exactly the same every time - the dj is controlling the different elements. People also don't get the effect at home of being part of hundreds or thousands together dancing and partying. |

Totally not helpful. It makes sense to put out photos of nominees only. Then, in a separate photo, they show seating for presenters. As usual, I'm guessing.  |

Perhaps the photos were taken at different times? The Nile shot shows diff face(s) on placard to right of DJ Khaled from the Adam shot. Some folks are being moved around for better talent positioning for the cameras, maybe. But it does look like Adam and Nile are very close!
