When I was younger, people used the word "twerked" as an adjective to mean annoyed or "bent out of shape." Am I the only one who remembers this? I can't find it anywhere, so may be old 40s slang I learned from my parents, or maybe even from their older ethnic traditions. I dunno. I didn't know about the "dance" until this week. Apparently the word "twerk" comes from the same German root that gives us "torque," and implies bending, twisting, turning, etc. Carry on. Junie, I just have to say that I continue to LOL when I see your avi. It's a keeper. |

I don't know anything about this Scott Myrick. But I do remember him from Katy's 2011 tour, which I saw in Seattle and in St. Louis.
He is definitely good-looking. His hair and coloring reminded me a bit of Sauli, but overall, I thought he was much more attractive.
Because I remembered him, I had no problem spotting him when he was a backing dancer for Adam in the "Let's Dance" number at the
VH1 Divas show.

Just got the latest issue of Rolling Stone and Avicii's "Lay Me Down" is this issue's #1 recommended hottest track!! Very nice.
