Dream team? I would love to know why Idol would pick HCJ over Adam. Haters say Adam hasn't been relevant. How 'bout HCJ? Wha the heck has he been doing lately? He's safe for middle America, won't make waves. I can't believe the new producers are such pussies. Bringing Randy back as mentor was the final nail in the coffin of Idol. No one wants him back! I didn't watch last season except for when Adam was on. Since many people think HCJ was a tad nasty, maybe he is the answer to Simon Cowell's leaving. He'll be the "mean" judge. Simon said some pretty awful things to contestants. |

Simon said some pretty awful things to contestants. True. And at least with HCJ, the critiques will be coming from a place of knowledge. I never did think Simon knew much about music. If he did, he would have told Adam what an amazing vocal he delivered on Ring of Fire, even if Simon didn't like the arrangement. I think HJC will balance any harshness with praise for what the contestant did right. |

Yeah that Eminem thing was just shock tactics and publicity fishing like Adam said. Doesn't make it right but it's nothing to take personally. Just cheap and pointless considering he's got enough talent to not need that, unlike some people. (Love that new song btw) yea, I agree w/ u.
