When waiting for Avicii's True Reveal (cover+2nd single) I posted my opinion of best singles. My third choice was picked by Avicii team: 'You make me' has intriguing sounds with familiar Avicii treatment, a good choice to not alienate old fans. IMO the best choice would have been 'Dear Boy' with 'Lay me down' as a strong contender; both tracks distinctive and quickly recognized when heard. DB has signature Avicii stomping combined with an eerie melody sung by MØ (=Karen Marie Ørsted) and LMD is a very good song with intense vocals/guitar but I think it has the least Avicii-like overall sound. Now I see I was not that far off with my choices as far as fan opinions go judging by the True Ambassador 'voting'. It's not at all clear how much weight this fan favourite 'voting' will have in deciding what the third single will be. However, 'Dear boy' leads by a large margin to 'Hey brother' in second place. 'Lay me down' is third with 'Liar Liar' very close behind.
