Had to take an Elton break! I remember listening to his music when I was 12 (and I am now over 50, so . . .). The man still ROCKS! And the blond guitar player Dee, has been with him for YEARS. Great to see! Actually, the blond guitarist is Davey Johnstone. You're right -- he's been with Elton since the early 70's. Dee Murray, Elton's original bass player, died about 20 years ago. Very sad -- he was in his forties.

This morning is one of the highlights of my Adam stanning ... such clear sound, Atopers commenting the hell out of what they love ... Q&A in the US will slay ... and Elton sounding spectacular ... I love my life ...

Pretty much any of the classic era guys can take the younger artists to school when it comes to live performances. There is a lot to be said for having done the miles. The one concert I am always bummed I never got to see was Elton and Billy Joel.

But he's singing FBG with Fun. before Dragon Attack. Riiiiggghhht. Damn. haha. Well I wonder what the hell he will wear? You know Adam will always look great. He loves his performance clothes, altho he does recycle with some changes.
