Oh, I haven't heard any of Elton's new album. Been meaning to listen, but I've been kinda busy. Listening now.  I think he sounds awesome, considering how long he's been performing. Definately singing lower, but it's all good!! Ok, I like this song, will listen to the whole album soon. His piano skill are sooooooo amazing!! Could listen to him forever and a day!!!!! |

Pretty much any of the classic era guys can take the younger artists to school when it comes to live performances. There is a lot to be said for having done the miles. The one concert I am always bummed I never got to see was Elton and Billy Joel. I've seen lots of oldies and many young ones too. I've never seen Billy Joel. |

My first rock concert....Elton John in 1975. I could see Bernie Taupin and Billie Jean King on the side of the stage as he performed. Fantastic concert fabulous memory!

Ok, I'm going to tell my sons that, for my Bday, if it's affordable, I want a ticket to Elton. My Bday is 11/20 and he plays here 11/23. What an amazing Bday that would be. Even betterer if my oldest son would go with me! Will have to talk to him about that one...lol! |

I got to see Billy/Elton twice. GREAT shows. First time Billy blew Elton away, the second time it was the other way around. Great gigs though both...I also have seen Billy on his own quite a few times and Elton once or twice (one of which he did Show Must Go On which was awesome)
